No trains at present between Airdire and Bathgate....replacement buses on calling all stations,

Milngavie - Edinburgh suspended UFN

Edinburgh - Helensburgh terminating Bathgate, re-starting Airdire

Services via Falkirk High running as normal (we're diesels!!! :lol: )

Temporary Timetable running today..services are as follows

 

Aberdeen - Inverurie

Services withdrawn.

 

Aberdeen - Dundee - Edinburgh /Glasgow Queen Street

Edinburgh to Inverurie services will start/terminate at Aberdeen. Buses will operate between Aberdeen and Inverurie.

 

Aberdeen - Glasgow Queen Street

Services, in both directions, will also call additionally at Dunblane

 

Glasgow Queen Street - Dunblane

Services withdrawn in both directions

 

Newcraighall/Edinburgh - Fife Circle

Services will start / terminate at Edinburgh. Newcraighall to Edinburgh will have a shuttle train service

 

Edinburgh - Glenrothes

Services withdrawn

 

Newcraighall/Edinburgh - Cowdenbeath

Services will start / terminate at Edinburgh

 

Edinburgh - Dunblane

Trains will operate at xx33 past each hour

 

Dunblane - Edinburgh

Trains will operate at xx28 past each hour

 

Edinburgh - Alloa

All services withdrawn with the exception of the 1732 Edinburgh to Alloa service.

 

Edinburgh - Falkirk High - Glasgow Queen Street

A half hourly service will operate departing xx00 and xx30 calling at Haymarket, Edinburgh Park, Linlithgow, Polmont, Falkirk High and Croy.

 

Glasgow Queen Street - Falkirk High - Edinburgh

A half hourly service will operate departing xx15 and xx45 calling all stations as above

 

Edinburgh - Glasgow Central via Shotts

Express services withdrawn in both directions

 

Edinburgh - Helensburgh via Bathgate/Airdrie

Services will start / terminate at Dumbarton Central during high tide. If so, buses will shuttle to/from Helensburgh

 

Edinburgh - Milngavie via Airdrie / Bathgate

Services withdrawn in both directions.

 

Balloch - Airdrie

Services in both directions may start/terminate at Dumbarton Central if trains are required to travel at reduced speeds. If so, buses will shuttle to/from Helensburgh.

 

Lanark - Dalmuir

xx23 services withdrawn in both directions

 

Glasgow - Kilmarnock

Hourly service will operate at xx12

 

Kilmarnock - Glasgow

Hourly service will operate at xx27

 

Glasgow - Gourock

xx25 services withdrawn

 

Gourock - Glasgow

xx23 services withdrawn

 

Glasgow - Ayr

xx30 service will operate calling at all stations between Paisley Gilmour Street and Kilwinning

 

Ayr - Glasgow

xx43 service will operate calling at all stations between Kilwinning and Paisley Gilmour Street

 

Glasgow - Largs

Services withdrawn. However buses will operate between Kilwinning and Largs where you can connect into Ayr services.

 

Glasgow - Ardrossan Harbour

Services withdrawn in both directions. Customers can travel by train to Kilwinning and onward travel by bus.

 

Glasgow - Stranraer & Kilmarnock - Stranraer

Services will start / terminate at Ayr with buses operating to/from Stranraer

 

 

Just incase anyone isnt sure the xx23 etc indicates the service at 23 mins past the hour

All train lines suspended just now

 

Bus problems are as follows

Renfrew Street closed between Hope Street and West Nile Street.

Diverstion:

From Buchanan Bus Station via left into Killermont Street, right into North Hanover Street, right into Cathedral Street, Bath Street, left into Renfield Street and normal route.

Kingston Bridge closed

Cumbernauld Express services operating via Stepps due to closures on M8.

Service X3 - Westfield Drive blocked (operating direct via Westfield Road)

Services X4 & X5 - Condorrat Ring Rd and Main Street blocked, Services operating via M80.

Service 9 - Paisley High Street closed, operating via Causeyside Street and Canal Street.

Service 9 - Queen Victoria Drive closed, diverted via Anniesland Road and Dumbarton Road.

Service 11 - Shiela St closed, operating direct via Robroyston Road.

Services 20 & 42 - Alderman Road/Duntreath Avenue blocked, operating via Drumchapel Retail Park.

Service 27A - Terminating at Torrance Roundabout.

Service 38 - Diverted via Woodfarm.

Service 44 - Unable to serve Eaglesham, terminating at Sheddens.

Service 45 - Terminating at Carnwadrick (not serving Kennishead Road)

Services 56/57 - Cannot serve Arden (operating via Thornliebank in both directions)

Service 61 - Sandyhill Terminus closed. Operating in a loop via Dodside Street, left into Shettleston Road and left into Killin Street.

Service 62 - Faifley Road blocked, operating directly via Glasgow Road to terminus.

Service 75 - Ashgill Road closed, diveerted via Hawthorn Street and Springburn Expressway.

Serivce 84 - Suspended (road blocked at Drumgrew Bridge)

Service 118 - Faifley Rd closed, operating direct via Glasgow Road.

Service 119 - Operating via Craigton Road in both directions (Hunter Road blocked)

Anyone travelling to/from central tonight will have major delays

 

Broken down freight train at ibrox causing delays to/from central and paisley gilmour st..

Ayr, Gourock and Wemyss Bay to Glasgow services will terminate Paisley Gilmour Street. Replacement buses have been ordered to operate between Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow Central and will be in place for 1850.

 

Largs and Ardrossan Harbour to Glasgow Central services will start and terminate at Kilwinning. Passengers can board service for Paisley Gilmour Street at Kilwinning. Replacement buses have been ordered to operate between Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow Central and will be in place for 1850.

 

 

Also anyone on the Paisley Canal line, the line is suspended due to a fatality

For anyone using services to Milngavie, the line is suspended between westerton and milngavie, the wires are down at bearsden, at present there are buses between westerton and milngavie....this is expected to last until 1500 (according to journeycheck)

 

Also points failure at Barrhead, services subject to delays, and cancellations...no time for service resumption yet

Owing to an ongoing serious police incident the line between bellshill and cleland is currently closed. Buses are ordered to replace trains bellshill, cleland and holyton

 

Trains to/from ;anark and motherwell via bellshill WILL NOT stop at bellshill, run fast to uddingston

 

Civilian police are in attendance at present

btn_minus.png Line problem: between Ayr and Stranraer.

Owing to a person hit by a train between Ayr and Stranraer all lines are blocked. Train services through these stations may be subject to disruption on all routes at short notice. An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed.

Passengers please note replacement transport will be in operation between Ayr and Stranraer.
