johnnylambieslovechild
At today’s meeting of the SFL members – the clubs voted NO to Sevco Scotland Limited being admitted into the 1st Division and are subsequently been given access to Division 3. There was an overwhelming vote against their admission to Division 1. The financial effect of the decision, as yet to be quantified, will have a major effect on Scottish Football and we would request all PTFC fans to get behind the club and give as much support as possible, both financially and from the terraces. We will continue to press for one Scottish Professional Football Association, Play Offs, League reconstruction and a better financial distribution model. That will do for me. kni
Me too.But how hard is it for the board to come out and say WE SAID NO! My thoughts exactly. Clyde's statements this have been truly magnificent and probably set the tone for the meeting. However, given Sevco's statement accepting SFL3, we Jags must move on and support our club. Mr Scruff
So how did *we* vote? The funny thing is, that if it hadn't been confirmed elsewhere who the clubs who voted 'no' were, you could still read our statement as leaving open the possibility that we voted in favour... Maybe we're trying to maintain a 'dignified silence' with our powder dry?
Julie Ann
i genuinely have a sick feeling in my stomach reading that statement. until i see something that says how we voted, not what the result of the vote was, i will remain full of despair. we all know what the result of the vote was. Third Lanark
Are we now the second biggest team in Glasgow and can Queens Park now take position as the third biggest team in the city

Mr Scruff
Are we now the second biggest team in Glasgow and can Queens Park now take position as the third biggest team in the city As of today we still are (and have been for a few weeks). That'll change if/when Sevco Scotland Ltd are granted a license. But we'll still be the second highest Glasgow team for some time (unless we get relegated this season). yoda-jag
So, yet another statement from Thistle which raises more questions than answers and leaves the door open to uncertainity and possible misreading of our boards position and voting. NOT GOOD ENOUGH THISTLE !!!! Come out with a clear and unequivocal statement advising how we voted in the resolutions.

Mr Scruff
Has it? I can actually only find QotS as confirmed 'no'. Don't know about other 'nos' or abstentions (were abstentions allowed). All a bit strange.
