Charlie Endell
clyde 1 gave it a fair bit of coverage today to be fair McCall and Gordon Dalziel we're speaking highly of Thistle and Archie. McCall said he had Nicky Clark on trial at Firhill when he was in charge but as we had Buchanan, Sid and Roberts he wouldn't have played and decided against signing him. That'll be a first for that *****.
Fearchar
I'm kinda old school in favouring BBC over commercial broadcasters but even I see the weakness in not promoting a game they're feckin' filming live. Actually, it's MnE that produce the football coverage, and BBC ALBA only broadcasts it. (BBC ALBA is a joint venture between the BBC and MG ALBA, which was set up to manage the public funding for Gaelic-language broadcasting.) It does mean that you can record it from Freeview, though. :-) Edited April 7, 2013 by Fearchar
Winter of '63
Radio 5 did a piece on the game early this morning with Jane Lewis. Standard stuff about both teams topping their respective leagues, young managers etc. Presenter: So tickets will be like gold-dust then? Jane : (baffled and under-researched) - er...they will maybe get about 5,000.
Jaggernaut
I think easily is an exaggeration. Just need to look at Cairney who can't get an eye in a Hibs team that has only won once in their last 10 games. He was a stand out for us on a weekly basis. I think all these players you mention as well as Bannigan and O'Donnell all have the potential to step up but the standard is better than your suggesting. The reason I singled out Welsh is I don't think his style of play would be affected by bigger or faster players. Cairney was doing really well for Hibs earlier in the season. read'n'yell
I don't think Cairney deserved to be dropped but the point is he was and often not even on the bench. Just a good example for some people on here who think all our players could "easily" play in the spl.
ColinKelvin
As of 12:20 on the day, there is no article about this final on the BBC Scottish football homepage (no trace at all except a link to the sportsound coverage later). Right, I am off to the game - MON THE JAGS!!!!!!
Jaggernaut
Nice wee (pro-Jags!) article in today's Sunday Mail magazine, by Cat Harvey.

He 'easily' looked as good if not better this season whenever I've seen him
