Graemei
Biggest attendance i've experienced for a long time... Possibly ever at Firhill. In the North stand and the atmosphere was phenomenal, especially considering it was always going to be a nervy encounter. Couldn't hear any other part of the stadium, don't even think we stopped singing for longer than five seconds. What a memorable night! angry gaz
Claims that the Dunfermline situation helped us but makes no mention about the fact that he could afford to go out and sign Colin McMenamin when we didn't have cash to sign anyone. Get it right round ye!!! That really was clutching at straws from Moore. Great bit of management from Archie though. I was actually really surprised Moore didn't go out and sign some of the Pars players.Got a feeling he felt his team had the better of us anyway. Wouldn't have liked to have seen Joe Cardle there at this point in the season. Reading some of the forums I reckon Moore and a lot of the Morton Fans have completely underrated and underestimated us this season and overrated themselves. the man
What a bitter, bitter wee man. Claims that the Dunfermline situation helped us but makes no mention about the fact that he could afford to go out and sign Colin McMenamin when we didn't have cash to sign anyone. Get it right round ye!!! What part of that interview makes him bitter ? RE the Dunfermline situation, he was actually quoting what YOUR manager said about them ! Trotter
What part of that interview makes him bitter ? RE the Dunfermline situation, he was actually quoting what YOUR manager said about them ! At least wee Moore got another yeat's experience under his belt. Might start to get linked with some bigger jobs. Anyone got the Hamilton job yet?
digger
Yes , all the players are to be praised for their performances tonight , but lets not forget Archie , he's turning out to be some gaffer !! Put himself on the bench and engineered things from the dugout , again great substitutions at the right time , no wonder he's been manager of the month since his appointment ( unofficial as well ) and looking like he will make it 3 in a row when we win the title !! Also need to remember the contribution by Shaggy and all the other backroom staff, and finally the 12th man !! Brilliant , brilliant, brilliant !! Onwards and upwards with the ONLY team in Glasgow !!! Would like to give a big up to Kenny Chriton the Physio, that must have been one helluva job he done to get those boy`s fit for last nights match given their exertions on Sunday. Absolutely agree. I thought the boys looked tired and jaded at the Cup Final and could only assume that they would have been even worse for the Morton game, having put in 120 minutes on Sunday. Quite the reverse - they seemed full of beans on Wednesday. Well done Kenny.
GrantB
What part of that interview makes him bitter ? RE the Dunfermline situation, he was actually quoting what YOUR manager said about them ! He mentioned the fact that we were able to bring in the Dunfermline guys but failed to mention the FACT that we didn't bring in anyone in January whereas you signed McMenamin ( which, in an indirect way, was your downfall) Bet McGills want their money back now...
