David Stevenson
We play United on 23rd November and our previous league game is St. Mirren at Firhill on the 9th. Looks like Ciftci may miss playing us. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24763516
Ancipital
if he's done what he's alleged to the linesman then he'll probably be banned for the next time United come to Firhill never mind the 3 game ban he's been offered for the red card. cleveland steamer
I think I heard that if he's found guilty of 'assaulting' the AR, then it's a minimum 9-match ban. It may become complicated with appeals and the like however, meaning he could miss a couple of games, then be back for a couple, then miss a lot more. lady-isobel-barnett
For a wee laugh it's worth a trip over to an Arab's website http://boards.footym...rum.php?tno=196 A few threads about SFA being corrupt, Ciftci being stitched up, how come no one saw the alleged incident with linesman etc etc. Real paranoia reaching Celtic level. Then someone posts a picture in the compliance officer@sfa thread (post 16). The fun is reading the previous posts prior to No 16 first.. Post No 17 sums things up admirably. read'n'yell
I think if you manhandle or act violently to an official then you deserve whatever ban your given. Even if that's 16 games.

Great thread and if you think we're bad, take a wee trip to this forum. It's apparently all Sevco's fault as they run the show - masonic conspiracy coming out of Ibrox etc. You couldn't make it up unless you followed Celtic (in which case you'd be going to the European Court of Human Rights or starting a candlelight protest - followed by a dirty protest when you're told to behave). Good picture of the incident with the honest admission "we're f***ed"! Edited November 1, 2013 by Meister Jag
Paddy Thistle
Thats Scumdee Uts had a couple of players sent off this season , at this point last season we had something like 4 or 5 sending offs. I wonder if its down to poor management

Jaggernaut
I just watched the highlights on BBC, and saw no manhandling of the official. There was a wee bit of handbags with an ICT player, but not much. Oh, and Paton was right in amongst it, snarling and hissing. More noticeable was ICT's two goals, again both headers from crosses. Butcher doesn't seem to have anything else to offer.

Butcher doesn't seem to have anything else to offer. You are doing ICT down very unfairly there. Those were two great crosses. The second came from a very nice build-up and there were other moves where they passed their way into the danger area and played dangerous balls into the 6-yard box. If we could get balls as good as that into the box from ATS and SOD we would be close to top of the league.
