twinny
Forgive me if this has been mentioned elsewhere (I did a search for Stewart Regan and found nothing, so I assume it hasn't). The SFA have appointed Stewart Regan as the new chief exec. Comes with a good pedigree having looked after the Championship's rebranding, some cricket stuff too and he isn't one of the same old faces we're used to in Scotland, so could perhaps look at things totally differently and not be scared of change, hopefully. This news is about a week old! Anyhow, as you say, he seems to have a good pedigree and it looks like having a 'football man' at the helm didn't work out, so he's worth a punt. I was away on holiday so wouldn't have seen it if it weren't for procrastinating on the SFA website.
McKennan
The one at the helm usually isn't the one who's resisting ideas for change.
Allan Heron
Indeed. I rather take from the fact that someone with a football background didn't work simply reinforces the need for a clearout of all the other suits. George Peat can be first in that particular queue
lady-isobel-barnett
Heard him being interviewed a few times and don't think he's come over very well. Maybe he's got a temper and he'll give George Peat a doin' before mysteriously leaving by mutual agreement way before his contract expires. Btw he's quite pally with the Doncaster fella at the SPL for what it's worth.
