JaggyMad
A small question... If Rangers win the scottish cup or are runners up and the winners of the cup have qualified for Europe through coming 2nd in the league......Do Rangers qualify for Europe? Fairly sure as a new club they're not yet eligible to play in Eufa competitions.
kni
Fairly sure as a new club they're not yet eligible to play in Eufa competitions. As a new club, they will need to provide audited accounts for 3 years. “Rangers can’t compete in Europe for three seasons,” said a spokesman for the SFA. “That is due to their failure to obtain a default on the Uefa European licence, which came about due to their inability to produce financial statements. Assuming the club will now produce accounts on time, then the three-year period which began last summer should conclude in 2015. The fact that they are full members of the SPFL is irrelevant.”
JaggyMad
Jack Irvine @MediahouseJack 34m Very interesting meeting today. Rangers fans, 3 more wins in the cup and you CAN dig out your passport for next season. I think there could be a long way to go on this, seemingly the teams home governing body has to put forward a case or request on teams behalf. Will be interesting to see in indeed the SFA do put a case up for them.

Something like spending matching turnover (to a degree) over a three year period?

Obviously you are a bigot and a Rangers- hater, as like many others on this site you seem to have an unhealthy fascination for the truth...lol!
