If fit he would be an asset, big and powerful. He looked good for Hearts a few seasons ago. I doubt if we would get a full season out of him without injury though

Archie seems to want one or other, but i thought last night it would have been better if he had kept Kris on and maybe taken Lawless off. Some of Bairdy's good work on the left might have led to goals if Doolan had been in the box. I know last season Doolan & Craig didn't seem to work, but maybe Doolan & Baird would at times. Thoughts?

I was sitting about 6 rows back close to speakers and it was pathetic. On another note, cut out the loud music in the minutes before the teams come out. We want to hear the fans, not have them drowned out

Sorry guys, i wasn't trying to stir up speculation or looking for exact figures, i was just genuinely wondering how our budget compares to fat boys salary. I thought if we have 35 players (do we have that many?) on that size of budget then it would average £20k. As we have so many under 20's now our average salary might not be that much greater than that

Like others have said, he can be infuriating for 89 minutes and then win a game with a single piece of magic. Give him time & support. One thing about him (and Paton as well) he gives 100%, always looks for the ball and never hides even when things aren't going for him

Does anybody know approx what our playing budget is for the whole squad? I just read that this chump gets £700k pa (nearly 14 grand a week) all to himself

Did you seriously expect more? I'm surprised there was that many going by past season's early season cup attendances. Poor performance tonight, Ayr closed us down all night. Only real positives were that we won and we scored 2 goals

Would you seriously not support Thistle if we signed a player you dislike? Strange I dislike Novo, but can't understand why he would make any Jags fan think that way. I wouldn't let any individual player or manager stop me supporting my team and would be surprised if many Jags fans would allow it to happen either
