  1. I couldn't have been much closer to the celebrations of the players after this goal without actually being on the park!
  2. I know I already posted about this a few weeks ago but it still hasn't been sorted! Is there anyone here who is entitled to have access to the TAG scheme by virtue of being a season ticket holder who still hasn't received their TAG number and therefore is denied access to all of the features? If so and you were able to resolve it, how did you go about doing it? There are hardly any contact email addresses on the Official Website and the ones I have tried haven't got back to me. To recap I went to the TAG sign-up page and clicked on the free to season ticket holders subscription option. It takes me to a page where I am requested to enter a customer number which is found on my season ticket which of course I have. But it then requests that I input a TAG discount code which I dont have. It says that "Adult, concession and youth/juvenile Season Ticket holders for whom we have a valid email address have been sent their TAG access code by email. For those without a valid email address, these are currently being sent out by post." I have not received either, and it was a couple of months ago now that I first saw that message. About 3-4 weeks ago my Dad also spoke to someone in the office who said that someone would be coming in to speak to them the following day about the problems that people have been having with TAG, and she assured my Dad that we would hear from Thistle within the next few days. But we never heard back from them. It is very frustrating as a season ticket holder to be denied access to many of the features of the website that we are entitled to, and the longer it goes on the more frustrated we are getting, because a lot of the features on the website now you need to be a TAG member to access. It's become a right pain!
  3. I got a really good view of the equalizer from beside the goal, as you can see here:
  4. This is what the St Mirren mascot is up to after Saturday's match
  5. Thanks ptfc.no.1, I've sent an email to them, hopefully I'll get a reply! Did they reply quite quickly to you?
  6. I know someone already started a thread about TAG issues last week but I feel my issue is slightly different so I wanted to give it a thread of it's own. About a month ago I looked at the TAG page on the OS and clicked on the free to season ticket holders subscription option. For those without a valid email address, these are currently being sent out by post." I have not received either, and I'm pretty sure they have my valid email address because I receive emails from the club about hospitality offers etc. But even if they had posted out the details I have waited a month to receive them, but still nothing. I am now denied access to match photos, match preview videos etc even though I am a season ticket holder! Have any other season ticket holders encountered this issue? And if so, how did you get it resolved?
  7. Are there any live streams of this game kicking about anywhere?
  8. A montage of today's game, better than anything you'll see on Sportscene!
  9. Just before the league structure was "revamped" 2 years ago we were told that there were a number of high profile sponsors ready to sponsor the new setup. We are now in the 2nd season of the SPFL and still none of Scotland's professional leagues have a sponsor, not even the top league! I bet there's no other country in the world who's top league doesnt have a sponsor of some sort, our leagues are the laughing stock as usual! Does anyone know whats going on regarding this?
  10. I think we'll need more than 6 players to take on Motherwell, dont you?
  11. This is absolute crap news for me, that Sunday from 11.30 till 3 is the next Powerchair Football League fixture day and I really enjoy playing in it and I dont want to miss it. But I also really dont want to miss the Jags game, so its put me in a real dilemma. It was gonna be a great weekend for me as well, go to the Thistle game on the Saturday and play for my powerchair football team on the Sunday. Thanks a lot Sky! If they'd even made it a 5.30 kick off that would have been ok. At least it will benefit Thistle financially. Still really annoyed though!
  12. A close up view of Doolans equaliser today, and the brilliant celebrations that followed. Im just gutted it didnt count for anything at the end of the day!
  13. Some great defending from the Clyde Claymores prevents Tayside from scoring
  14. An action video of a controversial goal scored in one of my team's defeats. Surely if the post hadn't been rammed out of the way the ball would never have crossed the line? Talk about moving the goalposts! Mind you, the team we were playing here are called Tayside Dynamos, so I guess I shouldnt be surprised at a team from Dundee getting dodgy refereeing decisions lol
  15. I just want to share the new Facebook page I created for Clyde Powerchair Football Club. Its a great sport for disabled people, and its popularity is on the rise. If you use Facebook I would really appreciate it if you could "like" and share this page, as I try to spread the word far and wide about it. Cheers! https://www.facebook.com/ClydePFC
  16. Im not sure if this should be posted here or in the general forum, but I wanted to share this news with you all about how the first ever Scottish Powerchair Football League has now kicked off. I enjoyed being a part of it, but unfortunately my team lost every game! But its great that we now have a competitive setup in place, its been a long time coming but its certainly been worth the wait. The only bad thing is the main team in Scotland at the moment who I play for is run by Clyde FC so as a Jags fan having to wear a Clyde top is terrible! Heres a bit from the article, and a link to the full story below: National Powerchair league kicks off The first ever National Powerchair League kicked off in Lanarkshire at the weekend. The sport had no formal league structure in Scotland until the competition began at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility on Sunday. http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=3304&newsID=12547&newsCategoryID=1
  17. I dont know if this has ever been suggested before, but how about erecting a large scoreboard on the bing, and get it sponsored by a few companies/businesses? We had a small scoreboard a few years ago, but that belonged to the Warriors, and I was thinking of something bigger. A large scoreboard and match timer, with a section which could switch between showing the latest scores in Scotland and scrolling advertisements, similar to the digital advertising boards we get when we are on live TV. I dont know how much it would cost to set up, but surely it would make a decent profit for the club by providing more advertising and sponsorship opportunities?
  18. Well I actually moved right behind the goal just to see the penalty (you could see me on TV very clearly!), and it was my Dad who took the video. I couldnt sit and watch a whole match from this position because its impossible to see the other goal because there are so many players in the way, I tried last week and quickly moved away again! I then moved back to my usual spot which is to the right of the goal a bit, close to the exit tunnel. The view was better this week, there were still a few stewards but they were standing in better positions this time, so I was able to see past them. However I know a few others who were still struggling to see, so why they cant just give them seats to sit on I dont know. However, Brian is looking into this, so fingers crossed something gets sorted for the next match
  19. Another video of Muirheads penalty. I think I had the best view in the whole stadium!
  20. Im not sure who best to direct this to, but if anyone could help I would be very grateful. I considered putting this in the thread thats already going about disabled fans in the North Stand but I have a different issue I want to mention. Since moving to the disabled section in the North Stand last season I have loved it, I feel I get a great view and I know what people are saying in the other thread about the risk of being whacked by the ball, but I love being so close to the action. My view was always unrestricted but now this season because we are in the top league now and getting big crowds every game there has been a big increase in stewarding in the North Stand, and when they are all standing up it really blocks my view of the action. At the Dundee Utd game I asked the steward immediately in front of me to move over slightly so I could see more of the pitch, and then at the Hearts game the stewards had chairs which they sat on. This was great, the perfect solution, the stewards dont need to move, they can still do their jobs and us wheelchair users still get a clear view of the on-field action. But yesterday my view was terrible (maybe they were doing me a favour yesterday right enough!). None of the stewards had seats, and I asked the steward in front of me to move over a bit but she moved to an even worse position! I tried moving elsewhere but the position I moved to right behind the goal was still quite difficult to see from, and was more risky when shots flew just past the post. Im not sure if this is outwith the clubs control or not, but I wondered, could Sandy from OneThistle, Brian the head steward or anyone else with the authority speak to the steward folk about this? Im not asking them to move away completely, if they could just provide them with seats and ask them to sit on them during the match, that would be a very simple solution to this issue.
  21. Is it English Premeirship only, or do you do a Scottish fantasy football league?
