Dundee have Stewart suspended and Harkins and Tankulic injured, I think. This is a very winnable game. 3 points would be fantastic and it'd give the players some much needed confidence going into the Ross County game. Bannigan needs dropped. Hopefully Seabourne is back.

I don't have any glee over a defeat. Where have I shown any glee? I'm just not a happy clapper. I am outspoken and very pissed off at what I see is a series of utterly shambolic and unacceptable performances from players that should be better than that. I didn't expect Thistle to win or even draw last night. I just wanted the players to roll their sleeves up and showing a bit of determination after the disgrace against St Mirren and Inverness. Instead they don't show even a little modicum of professionalism and concede an incredibly sloppy and completely avoidable goal after 45 seconds from a corner when we had kick off. That's not being beaten by Celtic's ability but by Thistlebeing a disorganised mess. I fully agree that we need to sort it out. AA has had 62 top flight league games and the team still can't defend corners. How is that at all acceptable? It's not the players fault. Balatoni, Seabourne and Frans all have a good number of games under their belts at this level or higher. "Getting behind the team" isn't going to fix that. We improved after the break but Celtic had eased off because they knew the game was won at 2-0. They did the same against Rangers and Dundee. Feel free to disagree with me though. It's the done thing.

To ColinKelvin I don't want him sacked on the back of last night's defeat but the accumulation of a number of factors reaching back to the tail end of last season. Off the top of my head since Christmas- We still can't defend a corner yet we have better defenders; Our away form is poor; Regression of players like Bannigan, Osman, Seabourne, Higginbotham and Frans; The general lethargy shown by some players in games; The unacceptable performances against Motherwell, St Johnstone, St Mirren and Inverness; Not playing a striker against Inverness & the alarming reason for not playing a striker; The LB & McMillan situation; The constant drivel on post-match interviews; Always blaming the players; Losing terrible late goals & not being able to win 1-0; The dreadful long ball football game; Bannigan being picked not matter how he performs; The chat about going for top 6 then being slowly dragged into a relegation battle; Being schooled by a total rookie manager like Teale; We are 9th, which is decent but I firmly believe we could be a lot closer to 6th, 7th or 8th if he could sort out the above. Do you disagree with any of that? He's had a fair crack at it and he hasn't managed. It's time to get someone else in.

I don't understand how any Thistle fan can watch what the team has become since Christmas and take any kind of comfort. No one expected to beat Celtic but the pathetic way we didn't even make a fist of the game and try and compete was disgraceful. Nearly conceding a goal after 15 seconds to conceding one after 45 seconds was a joke. I think some people will blame ANYTHING rather than admit that they were wrong about Archibald that he is indeed a poor, poor manager that needs to go as soon as possible.

The last time we scored against Celtic it made them mad and they slaughtered us. Who's to say it couldn't have ended up 5-1 again? Rather than point the finger at the ref why don't we look at the team and say why have we now conceded from corners in 4 of the 6 games since New Year. Is any other team in Britain that poor at defending corners?

It's time for one of Bannigan or Osman to be dropped. It really is getting to the joke stage. They are terrible together and have been for many weeks. I don't think Archie sees it but I fear for us if they start again together against Dundee.

The were OK earlier in the season. The players didn't just turn rubbish overnight. What sort of training are the players doing?

So many of the players are way off form. Bannigan and Higginbotham especially. The defense is so, so poor. Frans looks like a shell of the half fit player that arrived months ago. Motherwell and St Mirren must be looking at us and thinking they can catch us.

They play St Johnstone at the weekend. If they are going to field a weakened team for the European game then that would be the one to do it in. If we are getting horsed then I hope Bannigan has another one of his moments and gets sent off. If Archie won't drop him then I hope his hand is forced.
