  1. We've got demin pumps in our work too.
  2. Any buyers yet? I'll gladly take those 2 tickets from your hands.
  3. I think he might have been the most recent jags player to take a throw in that wasn't intercepted or knocked straight back out the pitch to concede another throw in.
  4. It says on the Irn Bru page that they'll accept other Barr's bottle tops too.
  5. Actually... tickets prices are tiered for the Braehead Clan, with adult tickets at £13, £15 and £17, and U14 tickets at £7, £10 and £17, as seen Here. I'd imagine most families would be in the Bronze tier, where an adult and child would cost £20.
  6. Didn't realise that was a league match...
  7. I'm hoping that someone from the trust can help me here. I'm planning to pull out of the centenary fund, partly due to the shabby way the trust has been treated by the board - especially the fact that I voted in favour of transferring from the 1876 club to the CF - yet the trust hasn't recieved any of the shares promised in return for my, or other fans', contributions. Also because I'm a bit hard up for cash and don't want to piss my money against a wall when I have better things to spend my money on. If it is possible, since my direct debit is paid to the trust and forwarded on through them, I'd like to continue contributing by way of a donation** to the trust. Could you remove me from the CF and put this to good use some other way? **As the contribution would be a donation and not part of a fundraiser, it should not contravene the agreement with the club regarding competing fundraising vehicles. I think.
  8. I checked the strip on Bursaspor's online store, and it calls the strip the "Celtic style jersey"
  9. I got home around 7 on Saturday and went on to the BBC website to check the score. I knew it would likely contain mistakes, but thought they would at least get the score correct! Was really pleased to read the score, then confused reading the report and gutted to find out the actual result on here
  10. Good Times Bad Times - Led Zeppelin
  11. I don't think he was pretending to be Paton there, but was saying that if people can form ill-informed opinions of us mere mortals then they can do the same for jags players. P.S. Pretty sure some players do at least read these forums, as a couple of players made posts on previous fora.
  12. Got really annoyed while listening to that at how loud his mouth-breathing was. It's either very disturbing, or we should have serious concerns for his health.
  13. This kind of confirms something jags365 and I discussed during the game. We saw Harkins walk over to Paton for a wee chat during a substitution when Dundee had a throw in on the JH side around the half way line. There were two possible conversations they may have had... GH: So what's the plans tonight then? PP: Gonnae get together 'bout 8 in Ashton Lane and get pure mingin'. GH: Gutted, I wanted to head to Viccy's tonight. or GH: See you're still only using that left peg for standing on, Paul. PP: See you've still got that baldy patch, Gary. Edited to correct Harkins' grammar.
  14. Sounds like a much better idea, but more difficult to plan in advance, as we obviously won't find out about the fixture until after the draw, and we might not even get another away match in the cups, or we might get livi or dundee away . I think a lot more people already make the effort to go to cup games too.
  15. BUMP! I take it from the lack of replies that no one else is running this year, or you just don't want to talk about it? Worried that twinny might start giving out tips on hydration and fat metabolism, or that Ronnie (is he still about) will tell you that you should be ashamed if it takes you more than 32 minutes to run a marathon?
  16. I'm running in the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run for the second year in a row, and once again raising funds for The Gambia Solar Project, ran by the EEE dept at Strathclyde Uni. I worked with the project team in 2006, we went to a rural village in Gambia called Sambel Kunda and installed solar panels to power lighting in the school and health clinic, in addition to a laptop and a medical fridge. You can support them by visiting the Give2Gambia website and selecting "Ronnie's Run" from the drop down menu. Last year I spotted a few people in Jags colours taking part and cheering their friends on. Anyone running this year?
  17. I think most would prefer a home shirt to an away one. Possibly Hinchy - more value for money in that shirt...
  18. I could care less. NO! It's I couldn't care less. If you say you could care less it means you must care to some extent!
  19. People that say should of instead of should've.
  20. I vaguely remember - and I'll be corrected if I'm wrong - that the fee was specially reduced for the trust as it was too difficult to raise £15,000, and that payment in kind was only allowed at first for the trust, but then as it involved a change in constitution, the Directors were also able to do this. Since the migration to the Centenary Fund I don't see why these changes haven't been reversed (or at least partially reversed) as the trust are no longer required to make the payments.
  21. Haven't seen this posted elsewhere... Dear Mr Moat, It has come to my attention that John Terry has been shagging your missus behind your back whilst you were in jail. Yours Sincerely, Wayne Bridge
  22. Ivory Coast away shirt The bottom hoop does go all the way around, but there's a blank space for the name and number.
  23. I agree completely. I think it was when Germany were 2-0 up that the commentators said something along the lines of "When you look at the two squads and the starting elevens, there's very few Germans you'd pick before England players in each respective position." "Don't gies yer pish!" - I've been shouting this at the TV more often than not when any of the commentators start talking.
