  2. The peak restriction H1 is for all trains travelling to/from Central/Queen St, Edinburgh and Haymarket between 1642-1809 (nor the 1815 QST-EDB and 1815 EDB-QST). If you join the train outwith those stations (low level eg Partick, High St etc) before 1642 the restriction is not in place, if you join after 1642 from Bellgrove downwards the restriction isnt in force. On the E&G, you can join at bishopbriggs downwards with a cheap day, same from stirling etc. I get off peak tickets on trains from outwith the 4 stations HOWEVER if you are changing at QST then the restrcition applies
  3. Even if thats the case they still have to keep records of re heated temperatures, to prove that theyre within the guidelines, although they can be faked too.....reading this, id say anyone whos been ill after a game may have been ill due to this failure of duty of care
  4. The press would claim we're bigots and tar us with the same brush as the newHuns

    Best Doctor Who?

Was it not about the time they were wanting to axe it, so money was low and storylines/sets were on a very small budget

    Best Doctor Who?

I liked David Tennant, but Matt Smith has grown on me....never overly watched it pre Christopher Eccleston
  17. Id love Archie to get the job, but what im thinking is.....if we go up, is he experienced enough for the SPL, maybe get an experienced manager in, and get Archie to be his No2 to build up the experience, we dont want it to end up like gerry and whyte
  18. Dunno if this is any use....the deals online - http://store.virginmedia.com/bundles/our-collections.html Ive had tivo for a year, and its pretty good, the only thing i dislike is the youtube channel, it sucks The red button is also poor for bbci, but seemingly its to do with the bbc being pissy about doing coding for it
  19. A married couple went to the hospital to have their baby delivered. Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that would transfer a portion of the mothers pain to the baby's father. He asked if they were willing to try it out. they were both very much in favour of it. The doctor set the pain transfer to 10%, for starters, explaining that even 10% was probably more pain the father had ever experienced before. However, as the labour progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the doctor to go ahead and "kick it up a notch." The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20% pain transfer. The husband still feeling fine. The doctor checked the husbands blood pressure and was amazed at how well he was doing at this point, they decided to try for 50%. the husband continued to feel quite well. Since the pain transfer was obviously helping out the wife considerably, the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him. The wife delivered a healthy baby boy with virtually no pain. She and her husband were ecstatic. When they got home, the postman was dead on the driveway
  20. Booze ban on Sat is Queen St-Edinburgh is 1000-1300, and 1630-2230 Fife Circle Trains are 1000-1300 and 1700-2345 As Uberteeb said the Shotts trains are quieter as they take ages to get there.....if youre going to use them and live away from Glasgow, you can get a Route Not Glasgow ticket which is cheaper as its on trains via Motherwell, altho if u use them on a Falkirk train youll get upgraded to the full fare Could also use the trains via Bathgate, the ones that go via Dalmuir are all stops, the ones from Milngavie are limited stops so are quicker
  21. Theres a lot of coke being drank on the trains lately and apple tango lol
  22. I worked a rugby special few month ago, ran as a special express service, was a DRY train, all bags checked prior to boarding by the BTP, when we terminated at haymarket, i walked thru the train, mustve been about 200 bottles on the train...so the dry trains arent foolproof, also i know how the booze got on, but cant post on here lol Ill see if i can see what times the bans are at
  23. Another alternative may be go low level via Bathgate, at Queen St itll probably be a queuing system out on N Hanover Street, theyll put so many on a train at a time then despatch it, doubt therell be extra services, but probably all sets will be strengthened to 6cars Also remember kids go free. Also buy a return queen st to edinburgh then edinburgh to kirkcaldy, costs £22.00 on a split ticket, saves £5...its an extra pint
