  1. As has been said by a few on here, we need a second goal to calm it down.
  2. Lawless in for Elliott is only change.
  3. Spot on. I reckon if Arrol hadn't broken his leg we would have made the first season of the "new" Premier Division. Roughie would never have got back.
  4. Can he play for 3 sides in any one season?
  5. You get the horrible feeling that the board are just playing lip service to Archie and his desired signings. Could Taylor be the only one and that;s the bone that the board have thrown him?. I personally feel that the board wouldn't give a friar tuck if we went down. Yes, there is more money in the Premiership, but it could be that they are happy with this one big payday and that they would only have to pay even more in the forthcoming season(s) for us to progress.
  6. If we don't stay up I can see this club being stripped to the bare bones and the board taking every extra penny out of it. Their silence on anything of interest and benefit to Thistle is deafening!
  7. Think of all the drug barons in Possil we could tap into.
  8. Isn't it a guy called Sandy Gourlay? Seem to remember a goalie around that period of that name, who remained No.2 under a young Roughie.
  9. Can't say I am too worried. We still have Mark Kerr!
  10. Ross County have more cash to burn, I would think, with their chairman willing to dig deep.
  11. Really fancy Taylor to do damage.
  12. Watching the Embra derby and although Hibs are the better team. Hearts won't be easy to beat. We will do well to win there. Hearts may be full of boys but they have plenty of brawn and we are easily brushed aside.
  13. And yet we win our next two games and St Mirren lose theirs (home to Celtic then away to St Johnstone) then we are above them.
  14. An improvement, but another game we should have got something. Sigh!
  15. So, Archie does have a plan B.
  16. To all Jags fans, a very prosperous 2014.
