  1. Even if we were to go out we in next round, if it was the televised game c£95k in prize money so not to be sniffed at and hopefully a help to attract another striker. Will settle for no tele until the final though http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/celtic/15386530.SPFL_announces_record_prize_money_for_2017_18_Betfred_Cup/
  2. I think John Logie Baird would have been more effective !
  3. Maybe the multiple replays v Killie in the Scottish early 80's?
  4. Ex Southampton & Coventry .....hopefully Danny Seabourne putting in a good word for us here........
  5. Another shit and run performance from Azeez.....
  6. He was absolutely Lincoln for most of last season to be fair!
  7. Ok humble pie time and suckered by the blue in the teasers which is the goalie gear - pretty decent to be fair. https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5SjU-MVF8q0/V4PfHuFnATI/AAAAAAAA9H0/c4oT-JTdv9Q8N0p5LM_ZbhJ5IziGx2O9ACLcB/s1600/rc-lens-16-17-kit%2B%25283%2529.jpg Something along these lines would do nicely for the home strip please (Lens have had some crackers with same colours ....not sure I fancy a Croatia like tablecloth number right enough !)
  8. Commercial Manager number 1 on to-do list is give Joma a free if teasers to new away strip anything to go by!
  9. Eve of the Scottish Cup draw and just making sure the OF balls are suitably distinguishable
  10. Not sure how feasible this is but thinking re ideas for Fathers Day wondered if was possible to get gift vouchers from the club - could spend on hospitality, shop etc. Doesn't seem to be an option but I would definitely use if became available. Sure many folk might for example not want/be able to pay £80 for hospitality - but (say) a birthday & Xmas gift of £40 and there you go. Obviously you wouldn't go as an individual so a little hint to family and there's £160 to club rather than elsewhere? Anyone agree that could work or reasons why it hasn't/couldn't ?
  11. Hopefully the delay is due to a rethink as both options were howling and I very much doubt I'd buy either. Sure it has been mentioned before but catering could be improved - would it be "that" difficult to add soup, pasta, fruit and kids boxes for example ? Big growth in woman's football we could tap into - e.g. Ladies day at a match. Would a crèche be feasible even for a small fee e.g. £25 gets admission and say 2 hrs childcare? Think that is worth trialling even if had to reserve to give idea of numbers I agree it's easy to be critical but let's hope we see some constructive comments here
  12. Absolutely unreal effort from BB & JF here ...almost feel a bit guilty for throwing the idea out there now! That said ....anyone up for a new limited edition Liam Alone or Azeezy Does It number for the new season
  13. Major factors that need addressed for next season in a nutshell - major improvement in fitness (no accident so many late goals), more physicality (we're a "soft" team all over the park) and a couple of players with a bit of devilment who can drag the rest along when things not goIng so well - and prepared to scrap when need be. Oh and another goal scoring forward - John Baird, Pogba and Azeez got to be 3 of the worst signings Archie has made. Hopefully top 6 cash and decent crowds of late will help attract better quality players. It's a shame such a good season has been soured but hopefully we can get off to a better start next season to set groundwork for another successful one
  14. Cerny O'Donnell...Lindsay...Archibald...Taylor-Sinclair Bannigan...Barton Erskine...Donnelly...Laweless Doolan/Roberts
  15. http://www.mccreafs.co.uk/news/askdools-his-jags-fantasy-football-eleven/ And here it is.....don't think there will be too many disagreements with this team but I'm sure we'll soon find out! Many thanks again to Kris and all the team at Mccrea's for a great morning doing this !
  16. Was a pleasure to interview Kris recently as he revealed his Fantasy Jags team during his time at Firhill. A few interesting selections and sure once revealed it will help while away the summer weeks with some healthy debate! Many thanks to all at longstanding Thistle sponsors McCrea Financial Services for organising via their #askdools competition. Watch this space for more updates......and meanwhile some other interesting Q & A below http://www.mccreafs.co.uk/news/watch-our-kris-doolan-100-interview-with-your-questions-askdools/
  17. Also not sure if that is the Lawman.....David Byrne or Gregg Watson maybe?
  18. And as if by magic table plan just issued & 230 kick off
  19. Slightly odd that no tickets distributed or itinerary sent ?
  20. Andy Dunlop & David McKinnon (Jimmy Bone for Saints)
  21. Let's hope if he does go there are a few clubs in so the price goes up. My only reservation of him playing at the highest level is a lack of pace - for that reason I reckon £750k upwards would be reasonable with a high sell on clause
