  1. Cowan in the programme (vs Dundee in December): "Only the home strip will change. The present change kit of pink camouflage will be kept on for one more season. I cannot promise anything as dramatic for the new home top as our recent change tops have been as we are sticking to red and yellow - there might have been a riot had we done anything else - but I can promise you something fresh and new." These words do not fill me with confidence that: a. the new home strip will be good and b. I'm going to buy it. But hey, it's good to know the chairman realises that the fans would have been upset if the new strip wasn't red and yellow.
  2. Tuffey being labelled 'world class' was funny, was that 'Cowie's Call'? Is there another one in the pipeline?, if so, when? In all seriousness though, on feedback and what not, Munkey made a great point about getting some of the older heads involved in this.
  3. It would have to be nicely and politely without one of the bar staff taking the huff.
  4. We won't have a new away top next season. The camoflage strip will be the away top for next season. Similar topic started before .net closed. My prefered choice would be something similar to 95/96.
  5. you tell em' Barney If folk actually took stock on the present financial situation at the club then they would realise it would be the same for any other manager right now as Jags boss. I love it how people blame McCall so effortlessly for Hinchy being released, Sid, or whoever the moans and groans were about in the previous posts. 'My QoS fan said this..' blah blah blah, that still the QoS mob who survived in the 1st when McCall brought them back from the dead, half way nthrough the season, over 10 points behind the 9th placed team? They would have been nowhere if it wasn't for him and their Cup Final and European adventure would not have happened. Now, its all rumour right now but whose to say McCall didn't go to the board, "right I know we need to release some folk etc, but can I at least keep Hinchy(or whoever) throughout the close season" and the Board said no, without question. Anyone think of that? I don't imagine he enjoyed doing it either. Just somes up how the way the club has and is being run by going to folk we want to keep, "right mate I'm going have to let you go for now, but when we get the dosh we'll definetly come back in for". Whilst other clubs can just simply wander into the fray and offer these players/coaches better offers.
  6. Use Dreamweaver mate. Also refer to W3 Schools to help you with your HTML and CSS.
  7. So the Trust knew this was a lie from the beginning.
  8. No surprised at all. Although that doesn't mean I agree or disagree with the decisions. The budget is being cut again and Cowan still believes we can challenge. If this is what the manager needs to do, for the benefit of the budget, then so be it. If we wanted to offer new contracts to some of these players, then we would have done if we had the money. But we don't.
  9. Oh boo hoo. Get used to it. It's so easy for someone like yourself to say that, when they didn't live under Thatcher's term of Office.
  10. I'm disappointed WJ. I was expecting you to strut your stuff on the dance floor. I managed a cheeky wee ten minutes in the enclosure myself. Highlight of the season.
  11. Pretty sure Cameron only turns up on match days to help out, because of his accounting job. He may turn up once, during the week but I'm fairly certain he doesn't. So if thats the case does Cameron get a wage from the Club? I doubt it and if so, he doesn't really count as a coach, in a permanent sense.
  12. Well done to those who made this forum, really nice layout.
  13. The more and more Cowan hits out with this idiotic press stuff makes me dislike him more and more. Yet more patronising from him to anyone with a grasp of the present situation. The guy's cheek pushes yet more boundaries.
