  1. This excellent stand holds a lot of great memories for many Jags fans. It also forms part of a very impressive frontage, which would be the envy of many clubs, what do you suggest it is replaced with?
  2. It seems to me that you are not allowed to say anything too derogatory against Celtic on this forum, if you do the thread gets removed!
  3. So many people gave up their lives over the many conflicts to give us the freedom of choice, and, I will be proud to wear my red poppy this weekend despite what the hordes of Irish Republican scum from the east-end of Glasgow think. They like to talk about "Scotland's Secret Shame". They are indeed Scotland's Shame.
  4. Brilliant photograph of the middle 60's. Back row: Jackie Campbell, George Muir, Billy Taylor, Billy Cunningham, Donnie McKinnon, Tommy Gibb. Front row: Johnny Flanagan, Davie McParland, Arthur Duncan, Andy Roxburgh, Brian Gallagher. Brings back great memories!
  5. Let's hope it is gone for good. I detest these two plonkers!
  6. Going by what I have read is seems that any grief dished out to scum who frighten a 10-year-old girl is justified. I never thought that we could sink any lower!
  7. Did I read in a post last week that you were aka Fellow Traveller in the previous forum. I agreed with you plenty of times in that forum, and also wholeheartedly agree with you in this instance. When Cowan first appeared on the horizon, we had a 4-sided, well-appointed stadium which was owned by the club. I realise that this was also at the time of difficulties of "Save the Jags" but we came through it, now Cowan's legacy is a bing, ownership of half of a two-sided stadium and Propco! Not much collateral there for the future. I have been following the Jags for more than 50 years, however, when the Main Stand and frontage disappear I reckon that is when I will call it a day. more power to your elbow Double Ugly!
  8. Pretty insensitive, your nom de plume says it all. By the way were Dundee not the one club who gave the Jags their support over the Inverness debacle when we got relegated?
  9. I can think of Lorraine Kelly who supports Dundee United despite being brought up in East Kilbride, however, I am not too aware of many others outwith the Old Firm! I do think that supporting the Jags is definitely the safe option for high profile West of Scotland celebs but eventually their true colours will be outed.
  10. I don't see why he should, there are plenty of Scottish "Luvvies" and "Celebs" who go out of their way to profess their support of the Jungle Jims.
  11. According to Cowan in today's programme there is now no plans for any spectating accommodation when the south-end is developed. Was this always the case? Have I missed something? As I was under the impression that there would be some sort of seating/standing provision made. Sadly, it seems to me that this shower that masquerades as "Custodians" of our club are now hell-bent on driving us all away slowly-but-surely and then Propco can have Firhill all to themselves.
  12. I have seen milk turn quicker than Grehan!
  13. I always liked Alex O'Hara and Colin Jackson!
