We were outmanoeuvred, our ‘crime’ was trusting the Club Board to deliver on its promises of shares. It didn’t. That still irks me to this day. But what happened, happened.
It’s probably why I didn’t trust the latest incarnation of the Club Board, especially the way they have acted towards TJF - a professional, democratically elected fan representative body.
One of two of us ‘older’ fans are sick of the politics at Firhill. It ruins what would otherwise be a happy experience supporting the Jags. I’m angry at recent events to the point that I’m giving this season a miss. I may only be back at all if there is meaningful change in the way the Club is run.
In the meantime, I’ll take in a few games in the Highland League and at some nice grounds in Division 2.
I am sad it has come to this, but I want to enjoy watching football again,
