Very clear statement, thanks WJ. It’s obvious 3BC are playing silly bu*gers. Which is I suppose their right to do, except they are gambling with the future of our Club. I am still appalled at how the professional approach of TJF has been deemed not up to requirements. The reasons for rejection don’t stack up. It’s obvious that 3BC had another solution in mind all along. I am angry and sad. Angry it has come to this, sad to see our Club descend into farce. What on earth would Colin Weir have made of this?

I think you are onto something there FT. That IS the 3BC strategy to find a home for the shares. One lucky fan will win all the shares provided they can set-up a democratic fans organisation by re-inventing the TJF wheel. The draw will be fixed to ensure it’s a ‘member’ of the PTFC Trust who wins, thus securing their presence in the Boardroom ad infinitum. Get the popcorn in, it’s going to be a fun week

Yes we are falling behind badly, resting on our laurels from 1971 and the Tennants Sixes. I don’t begrudge QP their success; I just wish we had a better Club Board to steer us forward and re-engage the fans. We almost had something good going with Jim & Lance’s #onethistle thing back in 2013, with IanMac and Dave J looking after the North Stand. But it fell away as the Club didn’t seem to value it. My concern is that the endless rounds of nonsense with 3BC will just lead to apathy and some supporters chucking it. I hope not.

I think we are 5th. We are not 1st that’s for sure. Big game against ICT next Friday.

You have to admire Owen Coyle getting his side up for that game yesterday. We sounded flat-footed and confused by all accounts. The responsibility must lie with the management/coaching team for the initial selection and the way we played. Next Friday is a huge day to the Club. But only do we face ICT on the telly, but 3BC reveal which fans group will receive Colin Weirs shares as a gift. But it doesn’t feel like Christmas to me, as I am represented by TJF who have been ruled out.

Yes this. QP are ambitious and they showed that today. We are stuck in the doldrums trying to play the same kind of football that cost us dear last season (that we blamed on the pitch). On paper this year we have a better squad. But do we have a manager capable of getting the best out of them? No.

Maybe TL. The whole saga baffles me. All I know is that it’s not doing the Club any good. We need a swift resolution as to where Colin Weirs legacy shares go. My hopes of them going to a democratic group of fans is fading. The TJF proposals were the best I could see. Who knows who will own our Club later this month?

Sadly yes. And Friday being a big day for us for other reasons too. As a Club we are rapidly heading south.
