  1. Spurs are managing to De-Spurs themselves, Hibs just cannae shift it!
  2. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derek_Young Aha!
  3. Great shout, but is it not Derek Young? Genuinely can't remember!
  4. Sorry. Who were they missing? Listen, I hate County more than anyone, but to say they're not deserving of their place in the top six is a bit silly. You can look at the Celtic games but you should focus on our awful start to the season which ultimately cost us.
  5. That'll be the poor County team that's won a cup and might finish in a European slot?
  6. Erskine is ALWAYS that guy. Number 10? Erskine. False 9? Erskine. Winger? Erskine. Next Bond? Erskine. End to world hunger? Erskine.
  7. For me, Jaggernaught, Edwards fits the bill but is still adjusting to that role. Erskine will be great in behind Pogs. Bannigan, Welsh and to some extent Lawless don't quite do enough to support Pogba. I think Amoo is more likely to pick up the second ball, but would love to see him a bit more central at times. Great pace.
  8. I'm a big fan of Pogba. He does so much to bring others into the game. Ryan Edwards and Chris Erskine will have a superb season with him and Doolan next year. A lot of people criticise his lack of challenging for goal kicks etc but I'm almost certain he's been asked to do it. Think about it, if he wins a flick on, who is it aimed at? It's much more beneficial for him to make these high balls more difficult to deal with for defenders, therefore allowing the likes of Edwards, Welsh, Lawless to pick up the second ball. Meanwhile, because he's not jumped he's away from the defender and is an option for the midfield.
  9. No, of course he's not. Archie, like all managers, has consistently signed duds. He, unlike Mixu or Lee Clark, at least has the decency not to give them game time! Mark Kerr and Henoc Mukendi (although not really Archie's doing) immediately spring to mind.
  10. I found myself, again, bemoaning Welsh at half time. Different player after the break. Change in performance from him was as crucial as Dumbaya's introduction.
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the failure of the PA System down to the announcer on being on the pitch? Can they not just provide him with an XLR mic and keep him up at the gantry? Surely that would prevent the issues caused by, presumably, the remote mic? It's getting a bit silly now.
  12. Did someone say Ross Forbes?!? ❤
  13. Wish I could be bothered digging up the reviews some folk gave of Hemmings during his trial with us. Most folk were slating him and the manager for even giving him a chance. I think his character has been called into question - maybe not what we want at the club but suitable for a self centred ********* like Hartley.
  14. You, sir, are talking pish. David Rowson is a saint.
  15. David Rowson would've covered Booth's run. Here endeth the lesson.
  16. Ross Forbes had his faults, but his corners were delicious. Have we had many outstanding set piece takers in recent years? Boab McCulloch is the obvious one. Conceding a free kick within 100 yards of the goal was like conceding a penalty when he was about.
  17. I believe this to be the case. 25 or 26 penalties. Would love this to be confirmed. As we're nearing the split, can anyone establish if we've been more productive against the current top six or the bottom six? We often raise our game against better teams, but struggle against the stuffier teams. Given that the likes of ICT (a "better" team in recent years) and Ross County (a "stuffier" team traditionally) are bucking their own trends this year, I'm curious!
  18. I know, I know. It's March, but does anyone know if there are any of the 2016 calendars hanging about unsold? We're usually provided with ones in work but no sign! Would like to brighten up my office.
  19. To play Devil's advocate, Mr. Thistle - our best striker and all round good guy, hasn't even hit double figures and it's March. It's a team game. Everyone is responsible for providing chances and goals.
  20. I wanted them both to lose. And morally, they did.

I firmly believe it's written into the players' contracts. Just like how everyone who plays for Ross County must be extremely unlikeable.
