To me English football seems more and more like companies trading on some sort of footballing stock exchange. Richard Scudamore saying that Manchester United's troubles are "effecting the EPL brand" sums it all up for me. Liverpool have spent billions to get where they are, but somehow they feel less "corporate" than Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Man City

I picked up a book once in a book shop (can't remember the name) that suggested this type of marketing is something all scottish clubs should do. A wee email to fans that haven't been for ages, maybe a print out code offering £2 off admission or something.
