  1. Ill tell ye wit, that's the most impressive performance since dunfermline 2 year ago, confident and ruthless. Especially O'D 2nd hauf, I've no seen him dae that since the deft flick over oor gal. The only serious chances they created wis tho our slackness, but to a man it wis perfect. #archiewetrust
  2. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/st-mirren-lift-cup-thistle-draw-united-sign-dutch-striker.24800050 Going by wikipedia the trialists dont have bad C.Vs but Id like to think we had someone in the under 20s that we could be bringing on to replace the likes of ATS
  3. I rest my case, your patters the worst ever
  4. I agree with that completely as I was also one who disapproved of the stand move and made my views known at the time. However that was all constructive criticism with the view of it being overturned. Too many trolls with nothing useful to say. See you in Fleetwood
  5. What other avenues are there to support the team? Is sitting in the hoose whining aw the time on forums gonnae make us successful? I work away an can't make hauf the games but as a token of good will I always buy a season ticket in the hope it helps the club. It doesn't make me a better fan but I think any income the club receives can only help to make the club grow. I know id rather support the club by getting behind it an not drag it down with negative unhelpful comments
  6. This is the kind of stuff im talking about. spelling and grammer, do one ya dafty. constant keich comes aff your keyboard and onto this forum which has nothing constuctive to add but constant negative bile. either you support the club or you dont, simple. buy yer strip an yer season ticket and sit doon like a good wee lassie. PS your pigeon patter is incredible, I can tell someones told ye that one. next time ye try an effort like that try and use it to make a point. My last post made perfect sense and was damning of the moaners and whingers, which evidently has made it very easy to see wit bracket you fall into. enjoy yer season wee man, although i reckon winning the treble wouldnt be enough to satisfy ye
  7. too many stripes, too dear, i cant see a picture after 30 mins blah blah f***** blah. wit a shower eh torn faced greetin b*******. ive never known a group of idiots like it. jist buy it, support and fund the club and heres to a successful season. always the usual trumpets lookin to snipe the club at every possible opportunity. time to stop greetin an grow a set
  8. See Taylor is the player the club have used for the deadline day advert on FB. Either this is false advertising or surely he will be next to sign on the dotted line this week...............
  9. we really need to be sorting this out asap. im surprised its taking so long if we are looking to keep him. i think with last season fresh in his mind we should be a shoe in. we should be the team with greater ambitions. we need to have the players that have been identified by the manager signed before they head to Spain. easier said than done though
  10. How can you argue against this? The statement by the club is fantastic in terms of the way they have responded to heavy criticism by myself included. £25 to reserve a seat is practical. Its also a means of supporting the club for those who have a little extra cash. If you can't afford that then its nothing at the gate. Some folk are never happy. They'll be wanting adults go free next. Moral of the story is get behind the team and sing yer heart oot cos this is as good as its been for years and the futures brighter
  11. See instead of this, why dont we use the money to sign decent players. Thats how the club was in the mire for years wasting money on bringing the ground upto ridiculous rules aka 10000 seats. I wouldnt even entertain the thought of moving the dugoots as it is just a waste of time and money. Forget it
  12. Brilliant news. Looking forward to the new season again. Club back on the right road, lets prove all this was worth it. Onwards and upwards
  13. Good luck to our reps the night. You have our overwhelming support
  14. Completely agree with this. We have the whole summer to come up with something and have it in place for the new season. The old firm used to do this as well i think so no reason how we cant.
  15. Good deal by the club for a player who will only get better and better, and fellow north stand supporter
  16. A very positive and welcome statement from the club. Hopefully this will allow us to keep the club moving forward. The way everyone has pulled together and pressured a rethink is commendable to say the least.
  17. Theres only one thing left as our emails have been clearly ignored. Boycott of season tickets by all Thistle fans and an organised demonstration at the entrance to firhill with the media in attendance. It will be impossible to ignore. I cant honestly believe its coming to this. The reasons given in the club statement are no where near enough to have come to this conclusion or even to back down from. Its not good enough from the board and they are only harming all the good thats been achieved in recent years
  18. I phoned the club earlier and asked about when season tickets would become available to which the response was 'some time this week and that all details about seating arragements will be detailed on the website'. Hopefully all the good work of the past 2 years will not go to waste and this appalling decision will be reversed. After the highs of Wednesday of looking forward to next season were knocked back down to earth by our own board. Unbelievable. Only we could make it hard for ourselves on the pitch as well as off it.
  19. Holding off until we see the outcome of the North Stand
  20. Are you Beattie in disguise? Going to watch Thistle used to be a chore cos there wis no atmosphere, nothing to want ye keep going back. With the North Stand its like night and day. Not going to the game is unthinkable now and even if ye get beat at least ye get a gid sing song. Its a disaster fir everyone if this happens, not just the fans but for the whole club in general. I hope Archie comes out and says something. He must. As manager of the team surely he sees the benefit it has on everyone. The papers are full of them praising the fans, now get yer fingers oot and start putting us first.
  21. it would make me consider not renewing ma season ticket, its a massive kick in the chuckies to every supporter this season hoo has stuck by the team thru thick an thin an sung there wee hearts out to the bitter end. why do we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot? sorry to say it but Beattie must go, he is not in tune with the rest of us.
  22. absolutely disgraceful if this is true. its like the BoD hate the fans. if it wasnt fir us there would be no team. chasing the supporters out of the NS is a massive own goal. a mass demonstration must be organised in protest. cant understand the logic in it at all. one step forward three steps back
  23. Improvement at home is a must. If we can sort that out then we should be fine. Far too many draws when games should have been comfortable. We should be aiming for at least 5/6th
  24. If we had finished 7th then it would have made it harder to beat it next season. Hope we can tie up Taylor on a 2 year deal an build a solid defence. Just saying the extra cash we could have got the day could be the difference between signing a dafty or bringing in a better quality player
