  1. It's a sad day when they have to be refered to as 'Rangers fans'. Always were known as H U N S, always will be!
  2. It's been a long time since I've....sorry, we've had a semi.
  3. Get it right up the trampy scumbags.
  4. Today's pathetic and utterly toothless performance has taken my anger to a new level. I'm currently in my 18th season following Thistle and I'm at the end of my tether. IMO the board are incompetent and are content with running our club into the ground, I think we have an idiot for a manager who constantly patronisies and lies to our support. Our fans offer absolutely no support to the players, we pick on individuals (Boyle) we don't sing anymore, we don't travel in numbers like we used to. It's got to the stage where I have to beg H*n pals to come to games with me, as no jags fans from my area are interested anymore. They've simply had enough. Sadly, I'm at the same stage where not only do I not care about Thistle, but I actually have contempt for us. I probably won't be back this season as going to games only makes me miserable and bitter. The sooner my hometown has a professional team to support, the better.
  5. I'm really looking forward to Saturday now. Train to Greenock Central, a few pints in the Waterline, train back along to Cartsdyke at 14:45 and in the ground in time for kick off. Hopefully watch our second win in a row and plenty of time for a walk up to the off-sales to get a few cans for the train home. Sounds like a good day out to me
  6. The board's decision to move their box from the Main Stand to the Jackie Husband could really come back to bite them on the arse this week. If the unthinkable happened and Berwick Rovers knocked us out, I can't imagine people taking too kindly to it. The Dundee game could be fun. When they race into their inevitable early lead, there's a fair chance that some people will find it too much to take and will vent their fury and Cowan and his clowns. The stewards could have their work cut out!
  7. McCall has patronised our support from day one as well as being a crap manager. Unfortunately, there's no one out there who would do much better in the long run with a board like that running the club. If you think a change of manager will solve everything, you are deluded in the extreme. We're stuck with jobbie for the forseeable. I'd rather we focused our anger on those in the boardroom and there are plenty of threads already saying just that.
  8. There is. If the planning application is rejected due to the lack of parking available, the board are going to demolish the Jackie Husband Stand (during the game) to make way for more spaces. Only thing is, they will do this before they are granted planning permision, leaving an unsightly pile of rubble in it's place for the next five seasons.
  9. Is it really going to make that much difference? Also, if you want to do it differently, start your own thread and organise it yourself.
  10. Excellent post. I've never seen so much widespread anger and apathy on a Thistle forum before. Something has to happen.
  11. Sadly, I don't think it would make a difference. The smug scumbags on the board still wouldn't budge. It's their own wee ganghut remember.
  12. It doesn't really matter if we recieve compensation or not. McCall wouldn't see a penny of it anyway. It would most likely disappear into the mysterious financial black hole in the same way the money we recieved from the Rangers games did.
  13. I've also heard we had Xavi on trail, but we won't be signing him as McCall feels he is too lightweight for this division. Inverness are said to be interested.
  14. Change the record mate. You're boring.
  15. It's time for the people on here who are constantly moaning about the way the club is run (and I include myself) to get off their arses and actually do something about it. I want to start a thread on this, but I really haven't a clue where to start. I am of the opinion that we should be trying to acheive what Stirling have, with their fans taking control of the club. If other people on here are thinking along similar lines, then please put your proposals to the forum and hopefully we could try and get something sorted. Be it putting proposals to the Jags Trust or forming a completely new group and starting from scratch. I honestly believe we have people in our support who could make something happen.
  16. What an incredibly stupid and ignorant statement.
  17. Well, like I've said, if you really want to do it for a home game, then start a new thread. I'm sure you'd get a lot of interest for the first game against Dundee. I'm only interested in away games for this thread.
  18. I voted Queen Of The South, but Stirling is starting to sound appealing.
  19. Why not start a seperate thread for a home game then?
  20. I'll be there for the Dundee game.
