  1. Foxy will playing for the foreseeable. That reaction save over the bar was braw.
  2. Is this the best start to a season in living memory? At home anyway. I remember a 3-1 against St Mirren in the old 1st (my memory is rubbish mind you.
  3. Cheers! It's always great to get a reminder of a match afterwards.
  4. Cheers Aaron it's been a pleasure watching you play! All the best for the future.
  5. Steady troops, remember > horse and cart. We have to win this thing or we get nothing. I'm tempted to use an 'emoticon' but I'm not starting now after all these years. Independence first, details later! PS - by details, I'm mean controversial stuff like the monarchy and social justice living wage etc.
  6. I sent in a letter asking for Centenary Fund prize money (3x20=60 so it's adding up). Nobody is getting anything out of the office for the next week. They'll be working round the clock sorting out the administration nightmare of paying a prize. I even put a postage stamp on it.
  7. I'm a JH ST and happy to show some solidarity with the NS. Last season I mostly went to the NS which is braw if you've been in the pub and don't have any kids to contend with. This year I'm staking a claim to good seats at the city end.
  8. Levein thinks he has a master plan of his own divising, albeit vaguely copying Liverpool in days of yore. All hail Scotland's great guru of football management. Oh wait... he doesn't believe in 'management' he believes in coaching. BONKERS! Hearts fans: you had better buckle in for a couple of seasons of total madness.
  9. Re: admin hassle. That Maxwell has some cheek on him. Has anyone tried to get a centenary fund prize out the ******? I've won three times, once a signed football and twice small cash prizes. The only one I managed to get was the signed football because I hassled some other fella who organised it. I was motivated to do that because it was a present for my son. The money prizes? Write off, even after Maxi saying he would get on the case. Mr Maxwell should perhaps be 'considering his position'.
  10. Levein????? You couldn't make it up. Heart of Midlothian -- get ready for your next relegation.
  11. It's not right that our home fans, including kids aunties grandparents etc, should be forced to forced to sit amongst a horde of orcs. I didn't take my kid last night as I don't trust the celtic lowlifes.
  12. That was braw... a bit last-seasony. Maybe we could win a few more games? The team really manned up to Aberdeen today, brilliant.
  13. Nice one... looking forward to seeing it. I've managed to get a hold of the others so far.

    Erskine Back

Awesome news.... what a tonic. I was really angry on Saturday and seriously thinking of boycotting tomorrow night (to engineer a win of course!). While I'm at it every time the fans have spotted some sort of problem with the team this year, Archie always goes and does something about it. I've been fuming at the team but Archie seems to always do the right thing. (I'm a bit Happy Clappy like the Duke).
  15. I'm not really blaming Archie for yesterday's utterly DISGRACEFUL capitulation. But some of our players are very good in front of their mirrors but not so good against more professional players. Anybody doing a step over before passing the ball to the opposition should be shot. And they are predictable, the other teams must be sniggering at our daft players and their haircuts.
  16. My neighbours have got a new turntable setup in their kitchen for playing vinyl. I've been fishing out various old classics Psychedelic Furs, PWEI, The Rose of Avalanche etc. This thread has just reminded me that I've got an old 7" copy of the Trumpton Riots.... scoots off to the Vinyl vault... Merry Christmas!
  17. I won 20 quid in November. How do you actually get a prize out of blighters? That happened once before. Never did get the so-called prize.
  18. A mate of mine lives near the old Botany and has a dug. This used to involve sneaky pints when walking the dog around Maryhill. Most of the pubs in Maryhill are spot on and not full of nutters (eccentric maybe). Politician / Viking / First and Last / Rams Head / Maryhill Tavern /Kelvin Dock / Strathmore all seem ok to me. I'm used to swankier pubs but I've got family from Maryhill so maybe a bit biased.
  19. Didnae see it on sale. I've got issues 1&2 so I'm looking forward to number three.
  20. I'm fairly sure that Sylvia was indeed played yesterday. Not playing Focus would be a portent of doom. Firhill sinkholes, gateway to alien hells, biblical plagues etc etc. But... all is well in the world. Dee dee dee - dee dee dee dee dee - dee dee dee dee dee
  21. Think I'll go for my first ever match in the Brass Monkey tonight. Was meeting people next door in Lebowski's anyway. Monday night in Aberdeen indeed, pffffft!
  22. Munn's lets kids in (used to anyway). Woody is always ok for kids. The Aitken Suite is good as well if you get in early.
