i for one would support these proposals a 16 team SPL, playoffs etc all good...... i would also put Sevco into to Div 3

i dont understand how the SFL can vote on Sevco next week.... 1. Charles Green has not actually yet bought some of the assets of Rangers FC but has a conditional agreement to do so by the end of july. the conditional clauses in the contract are unknown 2. Sevco is not yet a member of the SFA 3. The SFA Appeal Committee has not yet made its judgement 4. The tax case is still unresolved The SFL face the ludicrous possibility of approving membership to a company that that: a. does not proceed with the assets purchase of Rangers FC b. does not gain SFA membership c. gets suspended by the SFA appeals panel d. goes straight back into administration And given everything else postponing the vote would put the ball back to where it belongs.

i take it as a no and they are quite right, this has been forced on the SFL but the incompetence on the SPL/SFA so i think thats fair. if the SPL put off a decision today then the SFL should do the same next week as there is then no decsion for the SFL to make....its a shambles

I wonder if part of th issue might be that Sevco has not yet been approved for SFA membership therefore they should not vote till that's received.....an give them time to threaten everyone or stitch up a deal...? I also heard today that unless Sevco ar admitted into Div 1 then global warming gets worse and the black death will re-appear....

Given that thd blue filth are no more what is the status of the tv money carve up anyway as newco dong be in thd spl? Won't they have to re allocate some cash ? I assume the spl clubs will also use the newco exit to push through voting reform etc ?

Ok here's the next steps.... The appeals panel suspend them for one year therefore newco vote avoided They go into third division - which corresponds to 3 years out of Europe Numerous court cases, investigations follow Fab!

just remember you heard it here first! and yes they can alter their overdraft facilities and loanarrangements as you will find that is in their agreements with the clubs if rangers leave the SPL there will be a cost impact for clubs that are already in debt and struggling to pay them, the bank is protecting thjeir position by letting them know it will not be a consequence frre decision.

as i understand it there is no facility in the rules for them to go from the SPL into the SFL and work their way back up.....livi went from SFL Div 1 to Div 3.....so any new reconstituted rangers would apply for direct entry back into the SPL and if refused could apply to the SFL or thats its folks! the soap opera that is now taking place is fab if only the green ones would implode as well scottish football might end up somewhere reasonable.....!

The real problem which has grown over the last ten yearsis the split between those who own the club and those who manage it. The power lies with the former and the latter are thus constrained. It's not simply a question of getting answers from the bod but from the major shareholders and I'm assuming that won't happen. The best next step would be either administration or transfer of shareholdings so that ownership and management et are combined
