  1. Just a reminder you have to predict by 2-55pm tomorrow for the Alloa game, or you lose a life.
  2. Just a reminder you have to predict by 2-55pm tomorrow for the Alloa game. If you don't predict you will lose your last life and be out of the competition.

  4. I hope we win, does that count? Regarding Goodwin I would say most people will have been impressed by the job he has done with Alloa. Whereas our own manager not impressed at all.
  5. Hope your dedication is rewarded with a good result.
  6. Agree. I don't think Goodwin will be manager at Alloa next season but he wont be our manager either. We have missed the boat on that one I think. Also agree re Caldwell, unfortunately.
  7. Tomorrow could be the last of his massive days if we lose. Although I doubt that this board will sack him. Even if we win Tuesday will be a massive day/night. In fact until Thistle's / Caldwell's fate is known they are all massive days.
  8. Agree with all of this, except I am not sure we will stay up.
  9. A win on Saturday would have us only a point behind Alloa with a game in hand. With Falkirk v Morton on Saturday we would also gain something on 1 or both of these teams and as I say hopefully boost the confidence in the Thistle camp. Have you not heard Caldwell says our position is irrelevant.
  10. Biggest game for a number of years. A defeat and we are just as good down. A draw we might scrape 9th. Hopefully a win would be a confidence builder and we can get at least 4 points from our away/home games against Ayr. Lets make the QOS game a dead rubber and a good day out for Thistle fans. I know I should know better having supported Thistle for over 55 years. C'mon Thistle show us what you are made of.
  11. Agree. Would also add not rewarding failure by sacking a manager who gets us relegated, who was hired to get us promotion is not knee jerk. Anyway Caldwell might apply for the Scotland job again. He could tell them Thistle's current league position is irrelevant.
  12. I would never want Thistle relegated no matter who the manager was. I would be delighted and more than happy to eat humble pie if he kept us up this season and we were challenging for promotion next season. Even though that would be a season later than we were lead to expect we would be doing it. I do think his personality is important, because that will impact on the playing squad.
  13. Pity the board didn't rumble him at the interview.
  14. The manager we have in charge ,will have been in charge of Thistle for 3/4 of the season when we play our last league game. If we were to go down I would not want to give him more time in the job. Quite simply I have no faith in him to be able to build a winning team. His record at Chesterfield, for a good bit at Wigan and if we were to go down his record with Thistle would simply say to me he is a serial loser and should not be a manager at a football club that wants to go forward.
  15. I will be renewing my season ticket no matter what league we are in next season. I feel that most of us of a certain 'vintage' will renew no matter what we say or how feel at the moment. The concern for me is the younger generation, will they still come along to watch us play Airdrie, Forfar Stranraer etc . No disrespect to those teams, for all we know they may be above us in the league next season, but a big change from playing Hearts,Aberdeen the 2 arse cheeks etc. Kids go free helps, but if we go down a lot of fans who are much younger than us have lots of alternatives nowadays and can find more entertaining ways to pass their time on a Saturday or freezing midweek Tuesday night.
  16. Friday night Sprtscene should be renamed to Ayr TV.
  17. We just wanted to thank you and let you know how touched we are that the Jags Disabled Supporters club player of the year trophy is called after Robert. We know that Robert would be very proud that this has been done in his memory. Eunice and Robert.
  18. Wrong web site. You should be on the Barcelona one.
  19. Morton and Thistle on the same goal difference. Could Dools goal that wasn't given against Morton be important come the end of the season ?
  20. If we have a good week in training, nothing else matters.
  21. Agree. I do fear no matter what league we are in next season, Caldwell will still be manager.
  22. Every game is vital. If not must win games, until we don't need to win them.
  23. Iam not sure this board will sack him even if we went down.
