Once again we are beaten by a part time team,unable to come back and get anything after going behind (i know we leveled it to make it 1-1)and McCall beaten by a rookie manager.We have to many players who either dont have it Greehan and Erskine to name but 2 or are inconcistent.We have to hope that the SFL give Dundee a big points deduction and even at that ithink we could go down as i dont see us winning the play offs if it came to that.This was also Stirlings first home win today.

Even that might not be enough.Victory next week a must.

As far as i can remember we have never come back from 2 goals down under McCall.Today would be the perfect time to change that.

As well as a points deduction i think there should also be a ban on getting any new players in for a year at least,this would stop clubs being bought over and spending money on new players and giving them an unfair advantage over clubs who dont go into administration.

I have a desire not to see Thistle relegated again,we needed 3pts today and we need to keep picking up points as imo getting relegated could end our club.If we fail to get to the challenge cup final i dont think that would finish us of.

What does McCall actually do?

I think the position we now find ourselves in,which has been caused by so called Thistle minded people means if anybody wanted to invest money into the club we would need to take it.If things keep going the way they are now and with no fresh investment in a few years time we will be playing to crowds under 1000 in the second division at best.

Now that Cowan and Hughes are away what happens now? Is there somebody willing to invest a lot of money in the club or are we still left with the financial problems we had when they were at Firhill?It is quite clear that the club needs investment.We are sitting bottom with 3pts(as my son pointed out to me we have the lowest points tally of any scottish club)and we have a manager who doesnt seem to know how to turn our fortunes around.If we have to get rid of McCall it would take a fair amount of cash,but if we dont get rid of him because we cant afford it what would happen if we got relegated,would we still have a club to support?If the answer is we dont have fresh investment,what was the point in theese 2 leaving? Because as the crowd yesterday proved fans arent going to come back just because Cowan and Hughes goes.What might bring the fans back is a team that wins,but unless things change with our managerial and playing staff i dont think that will happen soon.

When we came out for the second half nothing changed.There was no urgency or fight and as usual our subs had no positive efect this i feel is where the manager can influence.

This lot would lose in the play offs as well.How ironic would it be if we met Forfar if we did get to play offs?

We look good until we get near the goals and then we are hopeless.I think most of the opposition know that they can let us have the ball because they know our moves break down or when we cross it into the box our midget forwards are easy meat.

Wish our team realised they are meant to work on a Saturday.

Our record in the league for this year is p26 w7 L18 d1 relegation form.

Once again we go a goal down,game over.why was our top scorer playing on the wing for the majority of the game?McCall says he dosnt have alot to work with.This is his team he either signed them or extended ther contracts,this mess is of your making McCall sort it out or get out of Firhill.There are at least 2 clubs with smaller budgets than us and they have beaten us over the last few weeks,even though we scored first.If we go down i dont think we will come back.

Cowan and Hughes were with us when we finished second.As i said on another thread i think because of Hughes and Cowan McCall has got shielded from critisism to a certain extent.Now it is time for our manager to show us what he can do.

I am glad that theese 2 have now left our club.But we still have the same problems we had before they left.we are still bottom of the league with a big debt.Some people are saying there will be big changes over the next few months but do we have that long?I also think our manager has been protected a bit because of the way the club was getting run.I hope that somebody had a few words in his ear yesterday and told him our league position has to improve or he also will be shown the door,as i feel ultimately the thing that will bring fans back to Firhill is a winning team.

What makes you think we wont go down?When we go a goal behind we seem incapeable of coming back to get anything and in our last 3 games we have went ahead and still lost,to me that spells relagation.Also as i said in another post this year we have played 25 league games and our record is lost 17,won 7,drawn 1 relegation form.

Imo the only player who has played better than last season is Boyle.Doolan has played well in recsent games but nobody else who was with us this time last year has done much.Where is it all going wrong?over to you Mr McCall.

Cairney isnt alone in not playing the way we know he can and we have to ask why?

I agree that our board has not helped matters,but imo McCall has to take his share of the blame.I have not been impressed with our signings in the past year or so.Our tactics and substitutions are also very poor,when was the last time our subs had a positive effect on a game for us?When we go behind we seem incapable of coming back and in our last 3 games we have went ahead only to end up losing.Imo something has to change soon as if our results keep going the way they are we will become detached from the rest of the league.The problems arent just caused by McCall,but i now feel that he is one of the problems and i do not feel that my head us up my arse because i think this.

I agree we should get behind the team.But i would not hold mybreathe waiting on us getting any good result soon.So far this year(2010)we have played 25 league games,we have won7,drawn1 and lost17.Imo not only does the team have a losing mentality but the manager has as well.

There is always somebody out there who thinks they can do a job,but our board are as good at picking managers as they are at everything else.
