  1. http://www.scotland.police.uk/about-us/police-scotland/complaints-about-the-police/ Anyonw who wants to complain about the police can contact them here and air their views!
  2. have a lot of the back issue in th ehouse of sitb if anyone wants a read/loan/re home them lol !
  3. according to the St Mirren wesite anything from £750pa to £2500 pa depending on location, thistle have a number to call! With regard to accounts , the most recent ones are available at companies house if anyone can be bothered paying the fee to get them ( £3 i think?)
  4. I heard it was a 2/3 year deal but the money was only guaranteed for 1 year ie if we go down your wage will go down, whereas DU were offering same cash over 3 years no matter where they are playing. This will probably be the same for the guys on the newer deals , an element of sensibility from the manager/board to protect us if we go down but gives th eplayers the incentive to stay up
  5. I thought they had a an artifical weave inserted into the park (bit like wayne rooney) to help protect the park plainly doesnt work if they did have it
  6. Clark took a good team to a rotten Team Campbell- squandered a big budget and played rotten football Bryce- out of his depth McVeigh- Unlucky but really a talentless bully While they are all rotten and deserve no praise the winner is Collins and imbecile of a man who only got the job cause Lambie told the board to give it to him Somebody should do a poll!!
  7. After Doolan scoring his 50th and 51st goal last night, got me thinking who was the last player to score over 50 goals for us? Roberts? McGlashan? Trigger?
  8. According to twitter were signing paul slane on loan from celtic. I thought we would be pretty much be covered in his positions (erskine/lawless/forbes) Any thoughts?
  9. Think it will be Stewart, Burns, Ketterer, Burbridge, Stevenson all look to be out of contact and cant see why he would keep any of them on Mayve some of the youngers guys like McGrotty etc if they havent developed over the season. Griffin is a strange one why give him a debut and play him in the squad then release him a couple of weeks later?
  10. If the other 10 can force a change in the voting (no 11-1, simple majority) in the SPL and fairer distribution of monies and maybe a playoff/expansion then this can only be good for scottish football. The old firm are fecked at the moment as RFC, in whatever guise, need the support of the other teams to try and get back to/remain in the SPL. Celtic , despite what they say need them to be there as well. The other 10 team hold the cards and should stick together and stand firm.
  11. I like to see the trust become a pressure group, stop trying to get on the inside of the action wher eit is plainly known we are not wanted ubder any guise. We should seek to raise funds , any use these funds to buy off smaller shareholders to increase the trusts shareholding in the club (see Fergus McCann- celtic takeover) thus eventually you build a strong base which BOD/Directors must take note of and deal with. Also if we have sizeable sums of cash available , we can then give to the club in return for shares etc Other alternative to this is the trsut becomes a fundraising arm for the club and seek no kind of power/ return for the donations given
  12. The OF going out is a positive for Scottish football. Lets all be honest its always the two of them who get the CL places so in turn they get all the revenue £10m pa. Now with that revenue gone their finances are not as good as they were, hopefully allowing them to be beaten by other teams. As they cannot attract they quality of player they wont and having to rely on standard scottish players. A few defeats here and there in the league then the maybe able to be passed by other team for the CL Places. Then if the cycle of dispair (for them, glee for me!) continues teams like Hearts/Hibs/Aberdeen/Dundee Utd might be able to get back in touch with them. Doing so would hopefully bring out the latent support for these teams , mariganlise the glory hunters at the OF affect their crowds, their revenue drops again and they become only another two teams in scottish football. Hopefull and unrealistic but i will always hate them and what they stand for and will always celebrate them get beat !!!!
  13. If only soemone could do something like this for propco and thistle, it would maybe make it easier for some guys to see the conflict of interest http://www.raithtrust.org.uk/?p=304
  14. Our problem with youth teams , is up until McCall cam ein we had no structure. We kept changing it with every manager , so we had guys (Mark Stewart, David Barron) who were decent then we disbanded some of the set up and they went elsewhere. Fora youth set up to work, it must run independantly from the 1st team, it needs to have a stable structure to produce players for the 1st team. It also takes time, you cant just start a system one season and expect it to produce 5 1st team players the next season. Realistically you look at a 5 years period to get a return. You take a group of guys in at 15/16 then develop them, in 5 years time they are 20/21 and at that point capable of holding down a regulart 1st team squad place.
  15. His record is probably one of the best weve ever had. Think only Lambie Auld and McParland could match him in the percentage of games won. To me that says a lot, he is probably only bettered by the 3 best managers weve had
  16. I think that most other clubs will have to endure the pain of budget cuts similar to ourselves this season , and that will make the league very even next season. It can only be positive that we have a number of young guys coming through and not looking out of their depth, we jsut to resign a couple of the older guys , shift a few guys out and get a midfielder who can create and we can compete(hopefully!)
  17. He sucess in the job. Didnt hit the heights of promotion but steadied a shaky ship and hopefully put us on the course to a better on the field performance. Had to deal with probably a smallest budget this year we have had in 20 years. Lacked a bit in the carisma stakes and never got the fans 100% on his back, what manager does? but seemed to know what to say to keep us on board most of the times. Could spring a massive wim when needed but also played some of the most awful footabll ive seen since the 80s and that includes Campbell, Bryce, McVeigh, et al Some rotten signings and some decent signings. I rated him and would have liked him to stay but the question is who is next?
  18. If we win Tuesday he will not be there on wednesday afternoon, they will be 12 behind Dunfermline with 15 to play for. What we want is raith to still be in the mix on the last game of the season- means a bumper crowd and an unexpected pay day for the club
  19. Dont think Fianacial worries will be exclusively Falkirks in Div 1 next year. Its never in year 1 or 2 of a recession that problems come home to roost but year 3. Falkirk have kept a big squead on decent wags on an attempt to bounce back straight away, its not happen so thus they will have to cut numbers and wages ot plug the shortfall. QOS- have all but admitted they are gubbed and evryone including the manager is available Dunfermline- have invested heavily to try and win the league- if not expect cut backs Dundee- Gubbed and only doing well due to triallist loophole Stirling- are really struggling after the fans buyout Morton- kept affloat by the sweetie man Rae- if he croaks it they are heading dundees way Thistle- well weve heard it and seen what McCall has to do expect more of the same County- have spunked there scottish cup money on pay outs to managers and are skinto Raith/Cowdenbeath- the two of them seem to be ok financailly
  20. Used to do a lot of my younger drinking in the Griffen, was in the other week and all i am saying it was clear that G1 now owned the pub. Also the Beresford in Sauchiehall street , which wa snow capitol, used to have apint in there while someone else waited in the queue for the garage, only for us all to jump in when he neared the front Plenty pubs have changed name that often in the town i am unsure what they were called in the first place to start with.
  21. Why don t we all put church of partick thistle as out religion that would be more accurate
  22. The Malcontents or Eddie Prentice is Barsteward?
  23. Agree thought McGowan alongside rowser in the middle park was excellent today, he showed what he can be capable of. It was good to see us closing the opposition down further up the park, with Greehan, Doolan and Erskine chasing the ball down all over the park. A good solid performanc all round, no failures in the team this is what we can do and must week in week out
  24. Good all round performance, thought we surrender the play to them too easily in the 2nd half and could have paid the price. Can IMC tell the stirkers/midfielders it is ok to have a shot from the edge of the area!!
  25. Triggers problems was his attitude when he wanted to he was a decent SPL marksmanm, when he was off his game ( usual on the bevvy) he couldnt hit a white cow on a black background with a banjo. Lambie always manged to get average player to perform at there best for a couple of seasons, then get rid of them
