  1. lets just remember the standard of tonight's opposition - piss poor
  2. 80 mins it took for us to break down a part time garbage mob, garden is rosey again.
  3. if you read this forum u'd believe everything is fine though. this is as bad as dick campbells team.
  4. i had a vision. karma will get us. dick campbells mob will relegate us in the play offs.
  5. imo protests are useless just now. i think come maybe say the end of the 1st quarter of games and we are still in deep trouble then a protest would work. the way to maximise its potential is if the fans who dont take much notice of off field stuff are sick of the team being terrible on top of the ever growing financial problems.
  6. As poor as we look, one thing baffles me. The confidence of teams like Morton. Last I checked they barely stayed up, lost a couple of pretty handy players and are signing shite like David O'Brien and Stewart Kean. They don't even have one of the unknown French guys to pin their hopes on either now.
  7. rarely use the trains, but see when theres a replacement service on, does the replacement bus pick us up just outside the train station, when we get to carlisle?
  8. any idea of any names mate
  9. or maybe thats a case of directors wanting a nice cut of the sale and not getting as much as they want?
  10. Its not even August and already we have went to the biggest tabloid in the country claiming we need more fans to come forward to sponsor the player's shirts - Filed under the Daily Record's Soccer Shorts section. Its time the club cleared the picture full-stop. Forget all these smoke-screens and bull shit press, what is the bottom line? We can't sign one single player due to the clubs finances, we're already scrapping the barrell with the player sponsorship and a ball hasn't been kicked. How about one of the Club's hierarchy cut the crap once and for all and tell us what the BoD's plans are to stabilise the club finances and help put a competitive team out the park for the next 5-10 years and beyond. How about some re-assurance for the fans who dip their money and their hearts into the club year in and out. How about the fans are told in no un-certain terms the impact that the debt will have on the club today and in the future years, none of this "ooh money is tight, but we're confident we can provide Ian/Manager X with a competitive budget". Maybe these guys could also tell us what they offer PTFC as individuals.
  11. just now is really an awful time to be a jags fan, and i fear it aint gonna get better before it gets worse...
  12. I'd say to maximise its potential it would have to be somewhere nearish, plus with good transport links.
  13. Pretty sure Livingston just outbid us for Mick O'Byrne.
  14. livi, clyde, raith - to name a few, the list of diddy teams who can or have consistently outbid us lately is a joke. you can thank the board for that.
  15. Agree lets not also forget erskine has done nothing of note so far either. Erskine is the type of player biased fans will defend to the hilt until he leaves and he suddenly becomes rubbish. We even had people defending Pat Boyle last season using the excuse he short of confidence, he was just shit.
  16. good luck mate, atmosphere is poor at every ground really, its worth a try to improve it.
  17. clyde are pish, third division crap, part-time. quality and fitness wise we should beat them without fuss.
  18. you couldnt make it up. fans slagging off jim mcalister then falling overthemselves to praise erskine.
  19. hopefully the peasy gub them. loads of ex jags there.
  20. a league full of teuchter teams, ****in fab.
  21. free kids entry costs IIRC are met by club sponsors. absolutely no justification for this, you need to draw the line somewhere for a price for this pish and 16 is the absolute max i'll pay for this. what about the large amount of us who don't take kids to the games? not impressed at all by this, but then again, our board couldn't run a piss-up in a brewery.
  22. beggars can't be choosers, we can't afford passengers like Hinchy and Maxwell, both are done.
  23. why keep sid? he'll give us a month or two of good service then once the good weather goes his form will go? Been a critic of McCall, but can't really argue with these.
