  1. If we sign anyone else my guess would be it'd be a loan deal for someone where we pay very little/no wages. According to his twitter Jamie Pollock (ex-Motherwell) has all but signed for us though.
  2. Agree with above. Paton was superb. Doolan worded his ******* arse off. Great performance.
  3. I'd rather have Hinchy in goals than Scully. The boy's pish.
  4. Was the best atmosphere I can remember in a league game for years. Who was getting the abuse at the end? It sounded like 'Petesy' or something.
  5. Looked a sending off to me. It was accidental, so it is a tad harsh, but it was definitely a goalscoring opportunity.
  6. Fox Paton Muirhead Archibald O'Donnell.............................Sinclair Erskine Murray Welsh Lawless Doolan Subs: Wightman, Bannigan, Craigan, Elliot, McGuigan. That would leave us with a good bench to pick from. I hadn't realised how much versatility we have in the squad. Paton and Muirhead can both play in a back three, at RWB or in the centre of midfield. O'Donnell and Sinclair can play anywhere up their preferred side. Erskine can fill in up top, aswell as playing outwide or just in behind the forward, as can Lawless. Welsh can play anywhere across the midfield, and I'm sure he played at both RB and CB during his loans spells elsewhere. Then on the bench, you've got Bannigan who looks as if he can play ust about anywhere on the park with ease, Elliot who can play outwide or through the middle, and Craigan who looks as if he can play in any sort of attacking role.
  7. Could we not just loan Scully out and recall him if he is needed?
  8. Wouldn't have thought Fox would want to go back to Dens. Don't think they'd want him either.
  9. Bannigan's signed a one year extension, keeping him here 'til 2014. Good piece of business there.
  10. With it being 10 years ago since we got promotion to the SPL, I was thinking about where and what that team are doing now. Alan Archibald is here. Danny Lennon, is the St Mirren manager. Kenny Arthur is a free agent with his own business. Scott Paterson was recently assistant manager at Livingston. Gerry Britton is involved with youth development at the club aswell as being a lawyer. Jame Dolan has sadly passed away. Marc McCulloch joined the police recently. I'm pretty sure Scott McLean is a taxi driver. What about others, anyone know?
  11. Boyd seems to have breezed through the game whenever I've seen him since leaving us. An excellent defender in this league. He was only 20 or so when he left us.
  12. Great signing. Very much a Lambie-like signing.
  13. "Thanks everyone for your messages #appreciated next weeks signing is a good 1 and I'm looking forward to working with him!!#itsasecret" from Paton's Twitter. Doubt it's Welsh or the boy from Annan.
  14. Why? I reckon we should name the stand, be that something like 'The John Lambie Stand' or sponsorship - e.g 'The Evening Times Stand.
  15. I thought he'd already signed a PCA with St Mirren? I wouldn't have thought a defender would be the top of our transfer targets. We already have Balatoni, Archibald, Sinclair, O'Donnell and Kinniburgh signed up for next season. I'd be surprised of Robertson isn't kept on too and Paton is 50/50.
  16. Correct. He was left out of the squad on a few occassions because of his attitude. Was out on the bevvy a lot and eating shite before matchdays and training.
  17. Would be a decent signing. Baird would be a fantastic signing for us too.
  18. Bump. I'm guessing this won't be a sell-out and will be available to get on saturday?
  19. Will tickets for the POTY night be on sale tomorrow? If so, where? Cheers.
