Re Airdrie we where not winning with 20 to go. Airdrie equalised in 63rd min then took lead in 70th min so my original point stands that outwith 2nd leg PO final, Dools has only lost a 2 nil lead match once. Crux of matter is are you calling for him to be relieved of his duties on back of losing away (badly yes) to arguably one of Scotlands top 4 teams in last 16 of cup having won group stage to get there?

Agree with you there. Banzo and Graham getting new deals was imo not the best decision.

Correct me if am wrong (prob am) but has Doolan managed a game when we have been leading at 70mins and went on to lose let alone consistently? Singings the jury is out as not seen enough of em. If anything imo it’s the pre Dools signings who have been a massive let down of late ie Banzo, Graham etc

I was an Archie fan and also happy when Mccall returned however agreed with decisions to get rid as was not happening anymore with them. But I think it’s far too early to be questioning Dools given the balance of his manager career. 3. personally and my opinion is yes not great but not the end of days either. Would prefer to wait a few more months to see how his team develops.

A tad relevant in comparison. Mccall’s team downed tools (see Cove/Hamilton home week), questionable signings to say the least and only those close to him could reasonably argue that his time was not up. Doolan inherited his squad and under that short tenure turned them not only into winners but also entertaining to watch and barring the bottle job (and ref) in po final we would be at ‘top’ table this season which was never happening under Mccall. This season I will give you has been disappointing start however we won league cup group, only 2 league games in and yes getting battered today by one of Scotlands top 4 however surely you have to give him time and his signings to gel before any knee jerk reactions?

Agree with most of the posts above. Think all we are lacking now is a defensive midfielder. Another Abdul Osman type in and the newbies all gelling would imo see us at right side of table again come May.
