  1. How I hate Murder McCloud. Insight of a brick wall. That was a fantastic result was it? Ninety minutes ago this was meant to be the easiest 5-0 you'll ever see. Arse.
  2. Clearly not, as we currently aren't. Cursed by our own hubris. EDIT: Ooooft! Though like feck Scotland deserved that.
  3. I meant look like. I imagine even I could seal the deal with some slapper with a thousand bucks in my poke. Anybody think the media love-in with Levein will finally come to an end now? I'm off for some popcorn for the radio phone-in.
  4. You could look like Wayne Rooney?
  5. ... Reminds me of Cowdenbeath...
  6. The hubris expressed by the Scottish media means it'll be hilarious if/when they score. Traynor's You Call will also be good if Scotland don't get a result tonight.
  7. Aye right. As if £15 to have a Union Jack flag flapping about in your face on Saturday wasn't bad enough. No wonder the general populace will sit at home in front of Sky every Saturday instead; and at least they have the chance of watching 'world-class' footballers every week.
  8. That doesn't even look remotely like the same team which took the field on Saturday. And as others have mentioned the most obvious difference is with Liam Buchanan; certainly wasn't the same person against Cowden. If that comes down to fitness/injury/training methods/just plain commitment I don't know, but the Liam of a year ago would have scored five against Donald Findlay's mob. On a lighter note maybe it's the shorts; black looked helluva lot better than this year's red. In fact the whole strip especially the colours are off this season. If the whole thing does boil down to Ian McCall or Maxwell's lack of ability coaching (considering the difference seemingly without Britton), then the Board simply MUST put up the money for someone capable. The money spent will pale into insignificance compared to revenues lost when we get relegated/go part time henceforth. And who at this point in time is confident that the season WONT boil down to that? Yes, it's early and there's a hell of a long journey to go... ALL THE BETTER TO GET IT SORTED NOW, so this pessimism doesn't become justified *sob*
  9. Well, if the manager isn't motivated, and can't properly organise a team of players he's had for over a year now properly, I afraid....
  10. Bunter should've asked the dug for tactical advice.
  11. Welcome to the internet! It's the place to be for any kind of abuse/insults/hilarious comments on any kind of topic you can think of. A lot of people posting here were at the game today, paid their money to stand in a dump of a ground and see their dump of a team get beaten by a junior-quality side. We all 'supported' the Jags.. applauded them out, sang the songs, shouted encouragement... and watched a disgraceful display devoid of passion, ability or any entertainment (let alone fifteen quids worth). Let people moan if they want to. STEAM NEEDS TO BE LET OFF. Or I suppose they could go slap their wives about. At least that's not on a message board.
  12. Well, I'm going to retreat into my fantasy world where we punted Bunter to Dundee and snuck in Big Danny Lennon before Saint Mirren goat a sniff. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to pump Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
  13. How much is the site really worth these days anyway? There's plenty of landfill about the area already and Tesco don't need another shop in the district.
  14. People always mention the abuse Lambie et al would receive walking up the tunnel at Firhill back in the days of the City End terracing at Firhill after an atrocious performance. I never experienced that, but are these days even comparable? I myself yelled out some 'Sucking Fhites' etc today (despite some snide moans from others about 'supporting the team' - I shouted encouragement and sang when warranted, but I pays my money and WILL express my opinions... sorry) but there were some VERY angry fans today. It's back to the dark days of Dick 'Dick' Campbell in that sense.
  15. Bring back Tommy Bryce! Oh, ok... .. how about John McVeigh?
  16. I think Cowden will be quite happy to keep our money, lol. Though I want a rebate for having to pish in that unlit slurry dump called a 'toilet'!
  17. It's funny how not that long ago we all assumed Buckie was destined for bigger and better things... and I imagine he thought so to. But when he leaves the Jags now he'll be lucky to get a job driving a bus. I wonder if he looks in the mirror and wonders, 'what the eff happened?'
  18. Only TWO erseholes in R*ngers shirts spotted in Cowden today! How many did YOU see?
  19. Special mention to Cowden who let a group of fans into the ground at the back of one, only to be told at the Social Club there were no under-eighteens allowed! Very clever. £15 to stand in basically a pit, Union Jack flags obscuring the view and truly world-class toilets (think Trainspotting). Lovely! Did anyone NOT see their equaliser coming? With their first attempt on our goal no less. If one of our shots near the end had gone in, it would have been undeserved (in my opinion). Only a good tip over the bar from Halliwell stopped the score from ending 3-1. Personally I don't know why Buchanan finished the game when Doolan didn't, but I think everyone has given up being baffled by McCall's substitutions. Erskine: Cheerio.
  20. I predict a riot (obviously)
  21. Gawd. What was she looking for, "..and the cry was no surrender.." tinkling away over the PA? So long as I can get a scarf for my collection I'll be happy.
  22. Interesting that Radio Scotland couldn't get ahold of Melville for that promised interview.
  23. The same (lengthy) post quoted in its entirety, five times. Gies a break guys. You want to reply to a previous post? Just use @thepostersname. Get with the lingo dudes!
