  1. How about, We are all in the gutter, but Thistle are staring at the ceiling ?
  2. "No more Jolly Jags. No more Cuddly Toy. No more plucky losers. No more red and yellow." I've almost forgotten what colours we're supposed to play in these days.
  3. It'd be nice to see all the fans swanning about in glittery star-spangled replica shirts...
  4. Is there enough demand these days to justify a programme being printed at all? In this internet age I haven't bought a single one in years. I just wonder if with all it costs to get printed if it is at all worthwhile.
  5. Aye, exactly. "1983/84 when we won the first 7 games (and still never went up)"... Let's just haud the horses and keep the champagne corked for a wee while yet.
  6. They should get a star for every player of theirs who gets to play for Scotland this season.
  7. Meh. I'm sure Barcelona fans complain about the same thing.
  8. It would be nice if Dumbarton bring more than twenty fans. Otherwise we'll struggle to break 3000.
  9. Yes! And Dumbarton have already let in seven goals this season. Let's turn them over next week!
  10. You can't get excited by a game that's finished!
  11. I guess we'd well and truly given up by the time Deans is heading in his last goal there - there's no-one near him!
  12. The relegation game? That's precisely the game I thought of, straight away. Had tears in my eyes walking home along the canal.
  13. You'd think this is why most people were belligerent. I suppose everyone could be singing "Levein get tae f**k" for the whole game, but this was one way of complaining about the managers specific choice in this matter. Not saying it's right or wrong, but a lot of people are clearly frustrated at an unintelligible decision.
  14. I've gotten into the habit of never putting my scarf around my shoulders until I'm in the stadium. But.... sometimes we still lose.
  15. Lord, did we? I must have scrubbed it from my memory.
  16. At least they don't play celebration music when we score a goal. I remember Clyde doing that at Broadwood, it is absolutely cringe-worthy.
  17. Welcome! I think anything over 1000 would be optimistic - but if you're sure we'll win maybe we'll take more!
  18. It did lead to a good rendition of R&Y Army near the end of the game. Peeps in the Jackie Husband stand just don't ever want to sing it seems. I'll definitely be going into the shed for the next game, get some singing going
  19. I wondered how that cup got on the pitch...
  20. Maybe Charles Green was doing the count...
  21. Your Call seems to be entirely populated by Rangers fans bumping their gums about how everyone else wont fill their stadiums and loads of clubs will go bust. And that's all they have to say. They cannot wait to gloat over anyone else losing their club. It's impossible to listen to. And they should sack Traynor, he's an effin joke, wouldn't wipe my erse with his opinions anymore.
  22. What about her cracking on about how the new arrangement is a terrible idea, with "one fourteen year old boy in tears" because of the ruffian singing (from both sets of fans, too)? It is not a man's game anymore. Anyway, great game today, brilliant performance whilst Falkirk could claim to be unlucky that the score wasn't closer. We never really looked in danger and I'm sure could have always kept our two goal cushion. If we keep it up, play a little tighter maybe, this could be a fine season.
  23. Obviously this comes from tradition, as a large majority of teams in Scotland play in blue, so an 'away' shirt has always been necessary.
