Usually I'm against all this "sack the manager" talk, but we play like s*** since the last half (or last quarter) of the last season and now it really shows that he doesn't seem to reach the players anymore. No confidence in the team once they concede a goal (shows in the game against QoS, once they scored the equalizer I just knew Thistle would lose this game as well...). A new manager would mean a new spirit at Firhill and hopefully it would also mean we can start winning again.

I really want to come back. Too bad flights are so expensive (if there are any direct flights from Hamburg to Glasgow to begin with, most of the time it's to Heathrow first).

Well, this game was the first game ever that I saw live (being from a foreign country doesn't really help to go to games on a regular basis). The first half was quite good and we where unlucky to recieve that goal (it was a clear foul seconds before that, how could the ref wave "play on" there?) in the second half, we where lucky to only get one more goal. There was no fight whatsoever, the team just didn't have the willpower to put on a better fight. They don't believe in themselves it seems. Also, someone should tell the players that they are allowed to shoot! There where some nice dribblings (from Erskine, I think) but why didn't he shoot? Instead he passes the ball back to the middle line and from there it is passed further back to the goalie... Apart from the result and the fact that we will get relegated if we continue to play like this, it was a nice experience. Nice stadium and the weather was good, too. I think I even saw Paul Carney after the game (I won his shirt last season), but he was just making a call, so I didn't want to interrupt him (also, I'm pretty shy so I didn't know what to say anyway ^^).

It is just unbelievable how we give away game after game after game...

This. IIRC Thistle started winning their league games once they where out of the Cup last season as well. I sure hope it will be the same this season.

I was about to write: "I'm happy we could at least score a goal." and just checked the text updates to see if anything else was happening... Hell yes is anything else happening. 2:1 Cowdenbeath now. Just another game we lose.

Hooray, the flights are booked! We arrive on September 20th in Inverness, and on September 24th we travel to Glasgow. And on the 25th, we can watch Partick Thistle vs Dunfermline Athletics.

As the winner of last year's raffle, of course I highly support of this idea and I would really like to sponsor a shirt for one (or more) players.

Saw them as well and thought: "I hope you feel silly now, dressed up like that." And of course, the german national antheme was booed. But I got used to that now... don't expect anything else from those "fans". I know not everyone booed the antheme, but it's still no fair play. :/

All the dutch people that I know only hate Germany when it comes to football. Which is understandable, because the same thing holds true for all the German people I know.

It's just an old habit of me to expect the worst. So I still say Germany needs to play better, no matter how bad the english team played.

YES! A true classic of football. Germany will have to play A LOT better in their defence if they want to beat England, though.

Pathetic play from England in the last few minutes. Instead of taking that corner and try to score another goal they hide the ball at the corner flag. But USA wins against Algeria so IF Germany wins later this evening it's England - Germany in the round of 16.

Oh yeah, haven't thought of Gomez. But he's so bad, I like to pretend he wasn't nominated for the national team.

Yeah, Özil would do great at Thistle. He's just as unable to score a goal from great chances as the rest of the Jags. Garcia? There's no Garcia in the german team. Maybe you meant Cacau?

How can a cheap piece of plastic made in China that wasn't even used in South Africa 10 years ago be part of the South African "culture"? It's just f***ing annoying, that's what it is...
