hopefully the table will look a bit better after the next 3 games, falkirk cowdenbeath and stirling. anything less than 10 points from the next 3 games will be a disaster! would take a draw midweek and we must beat cowdenbeath and stirling!

cant remember the fir park game, we played them in the cup a few years back, we were 2-0 down and pulled it back to 2-2 but they scored in the last minute to win 3-2. im sure we came back from 2-0 a few times under campbell, i remember we were playing dumbarton and were getting beat 2-0, their fans were thinking they were mental giving us abuse, we score 3 times and end up relegating them! im sure slippers scored that day, also im sure we were 2-0 down to alloa at home or forfar or something and won.

theres been a few times where we've been 2 ahead and drew or lost. cant remember any game where we have been 3 up and still not won? games when ahead that spring to mind - qots the other week, up at ross county a few years ago when we won the first div, we were 2 up inside 5 mins and lost 3-2. i seem to remember against airdrie at broadwood when we were 4-2 up and drew 4-4? and a game against ayr at firhill a few years back when we were 2-0 up and drew 2-2, conway tore us a new ahole! also the st johnstone game when they scored 2 in the last 2 mins from the kick off!

it seems douglas isnt the only one to have a his hands on the ball!

if its getting quite tight at the bottom i think we should change our formation and have someone playing in the hole.

we struggle at every away ground, I guess losing sort of becomes a habit as much as winning.you need to take your chances as the home team will always have a spell of pressure and take the game to you, we dont have anyone with a touch of magic that can take these chances (like the cowdenbeath game where we battered them but couldnt get a 2nd goal) and as soon as we go a goal down the heads go down.

i dont think 1-1 was a fair result at all, if we had of won 3 or 4-1 then that would have been about right in my opinion. cowdenbeath were absolute horrific, was at the other end so cant comment on their pen but we had about 5 or so clear chances, numerous corners that broke out to our players but we just couldnt hit the net then when sid hit that lob at the end i thought it was in all the way. i thought the players put in a good shift in the second half but these are games and the queens game at the weekend that we need to win if we're to even think about promotion, we beat dunfermline the other week but they smashed 4 passed cowden, i think even buchanan would have managed to sclaff a few in for us tonight. i cant recall cowden having another real shot at goal, they clipped the bar in the second half with a long dipping cross but apart from that they were abysmal. i thought paton had a good game , he was always looking for the ball early off of the fox and looking at getting forward. doolan and grehan were ok, didnt think cairney looked fully fit and he came on for hodge. anyways piss poor result but we're still unbeaten in a while. if only we had a good centre forward, even big deuchar would have done us a turn tonight! a big nogging to get on the end of corners. its been a while since ive seen us dominate a team as much but we need to be more clinical. oh aye and £20 down the cludgey, well ladbrokes cludgey! I think cowdenbeath just let all the local mutants in, never seen so many wee neds and folk lookin for a confrontation, i feel sorry for their actual fans have to stand next to these wee tadgers. rant over!
