  1. The searches made in the week ended 10/01/13 generated £2.95 for our football club, lets keep up this level of support as it does help our club: http://wearethistlefundraising.easysearch.org.uk/ Lets continue to do all we can to generate as much additional income for our club as possible. 2. I think the Board have got this one right and it gives everyone a bit of breathing space. For those who watch the reserves on a regular basis how does Archie set them up to play, is it the same sort of style as Jackie employed with the first team?
  3. This cheered me up and is what we as a club need to be doing - creating a structure and youth set up that will serve us well over the years to come: http://www.clydebankpost.co.uk/sport/roundup/articles/2013/01/30/444214-youngster-seals-move-to-partick-thistle/
  4. Console yourself over Jackie's departure by buying your favourite comfort food (or drink) online and by doing so help our football club as well: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/home-and-garden/food-and-wine/ Lets work together to generate the most money possible for our club. Thanks for your support!
  5. The Board need to be clear in their thinking when making this decision - do they want someone to see us through to until the end of the season and then take it from there or do they want to appoint the long term choice now and will that be a younger person in the Jackie mould or a more experienced guy? Personally I would like to see us continue down the road we have been going with a younger guy who will adopt more modern approaches to the game then the "usual suspects". A name I have not seen mentioned is David Weir who is cutting his coaching teeth at the moment with Everton.
  6. Well done to both, a great achievement for them and the club!

  21. The winning number for the cash prize of £452 today was 144136, the mystery prize was 144145. Also, congratulations to the winner of the month's gym membership. Thanks today to Malcolm McLean from the youth team who stood in for the regular seller in the North Stand who was unable to attend. Just some figures for you as well. Last season we had 23 games at Firhill and the total amount the club got was £7,712 which meant an average cash prize of £335. This season we will also have 23 ghome games and currently the club has had £5,869 from those games which represents an average prize of £391. If we can continue like this we will break £9,000 for the season which given the financial climate is an excellent achievement. Thanks, as always, for your support!

  23. After a long break the 50/50 draw returns on Saturday and the club have put on a special second prize with an interesting way to win it: "Don’t forget to purchase your 50/50 half-time draw tickets at Saturday’s match with Falkirk There are two great prizes up for grabs. First prize is the usual 50% of the proceeds of the draw. Second prize this coming weekend is a month's membership for Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing Glasgow Central (formerly Greens at Finnieston). There is a wee twist as well in claiming the second prize. Three tickets will be pulled from the tombola and the holders of those tickets will be invited pitchside where they will find a small goal and a speed camera. They will each get two shots at the goal and the one with the fastest recorded shot will win the prize. If you aren’t a winner still hold onto your tickets on Saturday. Everyone who buys a ticket can get a day pass for the gym but they need to phone first and quote their ticket number and PTFC 50/50 to claim that pass. Proceeds from the 50/50 half-time draw are ring fenced for Youth Development, a vital part of the Club’s structure."
  24. Congratulations to the winners: http://www.ptfccente...ts/january_2013 Good to see the last couple of draws have taken place on time with the results published quickly, hopefully 2013 will see a push to get more folk joining.
