  1. If you run your own business or are involved with a society/organisation then yiu probably go through a bit of stationery, you can purchase various items through easyfundraising and help generate additional funds for our club at the same time: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/business/stationery/ Let us continue to work together so that our club can benefit through additional funds in 2012. Thanks for your support!
  2. Another excellent total today - thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket today! A few weeks before the next home game so start putting your 50 pences aside for that one. http://www.ptfc.co.uk/news/2011-2012/january_2012/50_50_half-time_draw_winners
  3. As they are one of the biggest online retailers there is always the opportunity to generate funds through making purchases with Amazon via easyfundraising: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/amazon/ If we work together with the idea of generating lots of additional funds for our club foremost in our minds then we can make a difference. Thanks for your support!
  4. Go to the game, 1-0 to Thistle.
  5. If you plan to change your insurance or are looking to get some then see what is on offer via easyfundraising: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/insurance/ We as supporters can make a difference to our club if we work together on initiatives such as easyfundraising & easysearch. In the current financial climate any additional income coming in to our club will be very welcome so lets ensure we maximise the amount that does in 2012. Thanks for your support!
  6. Just a reminder that tickets for the halftime draw will be on sale in and around the stadium on Saturday. With your help we broke the £400 barrier for the first prize against QoS and whilst it will be difficult to achieve that every week I am sure that with your support we will continue to raise significant funds for youth development at our club. There has been some debate recently over youth development and whether the club should spend money on this and I don't want to push my views on this on to people here but the fact is we are currently running youth teams and they need funded so every pound that is generated through the halftime draw and goes to this area is a pound that does not need to come out of another income stream. Thanks again for your support!
  7. Thanks for the pics Jim, hope you have another Thistle victory to snap on Saturday!
  8. If you use Tesco to buy your shopping online then you can help raise funds for our cause when doing so: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/tesco-groceries/#36538 The most recent weekly amount raised through easysearch was £0.91 - thanks to everyone who contributed to that and lets now push on over the weeks and months ahead. I have read in other threads that crowds will drop over the remainder of the season (I hope they don't) but even if you don't go to games you can still help our club by maximising the income that can be generated through easyfundraising/easysearch. Thanks for your support!
  9. Given the recent news about our sponsors it would be nice if we could generate additional income for the club we all support through easyfundraising. There is a competition that gives you a chance to win £250 to spend at Matalan and £250 for our cause, there are various free funds you can get without making a purchase and if you do buy something online then a donation is given to our cause. http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ Let us really work hard to make sure we generate as much income for our club as possible over the next few months as we all want the same thing - a prosperous Partick Thistle. Thanks for your support!
  10. I did not see any headbutt from Archie, he shoulder charged Imrie nothing more or less (in my humble opinion).
  11. David Beattie's reaction to STV: http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-first/partick-thistle/294048-partick-thistle-chairman-reacts-to-macb-administration/ A good turnout of Thistle fans on Saturday would be nice.
  12. At this time of the year you might be planning a clear out or have received some gifts that you didn't really want and some of those could be CDs or DVDs. Instead of just throwing them away you can make some money for yourself and our club through Music Magpie: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/music-magpie/ We are all united in our desire to see Partick Thistle prosper and by working together on schemes like easyfundraising then we can make a real difference to our club so lets make 2012 a great year for easyfundraising. Thanks for your support!
  13. I think the only thing we don't agree on is whether Jackie has what it takes or not.
  14. Now that Christmas is out of the way people start looking at those jobs that have been on the to do list since last Christmas. If you are planning to do things around the house or garden then please have alook at what is available through easyfundraising: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/home-and-garden/ If we can work together then we can make 2012 a year when we raise a good level of additional funds for the club we all support. Thanks for your support!
  15. If we are going to compare Jackie to other managers then I would suggest that a comparison with Danny Lennon, Derek McInnes or Owen Coyle would be more appropriate than one with Fergie. Danny had the Cowdenbeath fans on his back early in his job there but got it right in his second season and that has been the case at St Mirren. The St Johnstone fans would have paid the taxi fare if another club had come in for McInnes during his early period in charge there. Coyle could not get St Johnstone out of the division but was still given time and has gone on to do not too badly for himself. I think that there has been fewer managerial sackings in Scotland this season than in recent years and part of the reason for that is Boards and supporters realise that managers are operating under strict financial constraints and that a larger degree of patience is now required. Everyone who has expressed their opinion, one way or another, on the subject is a Jags fan and wants the best for the club it is just that some see that as going down one route and others see it as a different route. Regardless of what route you think is best the important thing, I think, is that we support the club whether it is by turning up on Saturday or using easysearch/easyfundraising or buying a programme if you don't normally.
  16. Glad to help and thanks for your support!
  17. Can I direct you to the last post in the "Easyfundraising & Easysearch" thread?
  18. Being the boring person I am I had a look at this season's league stats and the thing that struck me was how fine a line there is in the First Division this season. We have had 7 defeats and 6 of those have been by a single goal, if half had been drawn then we would be 3 points better off with 3 other teams 2 points worse off. On the other hand of course we have had 7 victories and 5 of those were by 1 goal so our opponents might say some of those should have been draws which would mean less points for us. We are, at the moment, 4th in the table and are the 5th highest scorers and have the 2nd best defence. Also, there is always talk of dwindling attendances but after 10 home games last season we were averaging 2,216 and this season it is 2,516 so at least that stat is a positive one! I am now off to buy an anorak!
  19. As there is not a game to go to today why not use some of that spare time to help generate additional funds for our club by making some searches on easysearch: http://wearethistlefundraising.easysearch.org.uk/ You could try doing "The Alphabet Game" which is basically searching for something starting with a then b and so on until you have made 26 searches. You could also try just choosing a letter at random then searching for as many words that start with that letter as possible. Either way as long as lots of us try something to help generate additional funds for the club we all support and want to see prosper then that will help to make a difference. Thanks again for your support!
  20. Thanks for the pics Tommy, you are doing a great job!
  21. Remember that you can use easyfundraising to compare prices on various items before you buy so make sure you are getting the best deal possible and then purchase it through easyfundraising so that our club benefits: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/price-comparison/ If we work together and fully maximise easyfundraising & easysearch then we can make a real difference to our club so lets do it. Thanks for your support!
  22. Just a reminder about this month's easyfundraising competition where you can win £250 to spend at Matalan and another £250 which will go to your cause: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/free-competition-uk/2012-01-matalan/ To generate the additional funds that could make a real difference to our club we really need everyone who does any online shopping at all to register with easyfundraising and make wearetistle their cause so that the club we all support can benefit. Thanks for your support!
