  1. Excellent news, if you want to come along to the kiosk on Saturday to fill in a form or just chat about things you will be very welcome!
  2. For those who would prefer to fill in a form and hand their cash over at the same time then the Trust will be in the kiosk between sections 6 & 7 of the Jackie Husband Stand from just after the gates open to kick off with plenty of membership forms (and we will even provide pens) on Saturday (and all other home games).
  3. In terms of the obvious financial benefit a large Jags crowd would be very welcome, but given the comments from those who were at Palmerston the backing that the fans gave the team seemed to make a difference to the team and that will also be required for what will be a tough game.

  13. The total now sits at £129 exactly thanks to £2.09 being raised for searches up to and including 29/07/10 - thanks to everyone who is contributing, your efforts are very much appreciated
  14. A new month see a new competition and details about it are below (a good one for all the people who have some DIY that needs doing). http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/free-competition-uk/2010-08-homebase/
  15. An excellent week sees the total now sitting at £126.91 as of 22/07/10, the weekly total of £2.64 is the biggest so far this year - thanks to everyone who contributed to this achievement
  16. Just under a week to go for purchases made to get you an entry in the monthly competition. As we get nearer to August the thought of going back to school starts to loom large so easyfundraising have put together some special offers: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/home/back_to_school/
  17. I think some people are being very harsh on Boyle and Kinniburgh, both had decent enough games today and hopefully with regular first team football they will improve but they certainly won't perform better with people shouting abuse at them the first time they make a mistake! I hold Robertson in high regard as a defender but on two seperate occasions today he hit woeful crossfield passes which put us under pressure but no stick for him, Kinniburgh hits it out when under pressure (the opposition can't score from row Z) and peole go mad! Lets get behind ALL of our players this season.
  18. Our attendance today was 1,759 which was the largest crowd of the day. Clyde brought a decent number with them (anybody know the figure?) but good to see the turnout from our fans and lets hope that they all come back for the league games (with at least one friend each).
  19. I don't have the figures for the most recent draw (but I plan to get them soon) so these figures are for the draw that took place in Feb. Total Number of Members: 661 Gold: 127 Silver: 162 Bronze: 372 This equates to £6,020 per month or £72,240 per year (gross). Once prizes and the cost of certificates/postage, etc are taken off you are left with approximately £50,000 per year. As for online payment this was discussed at the Club AGM earlier in the year and will not be taking place because there is a problem concerning PayPal and gaming rules.
  20. I think if we sign Flannigan then that will be all the additional signings we make, we may operate on a "one out one in" policy but I just don't see the squad size increasing too much.
  21. What happens is that the weekly amounts that are raised through easysearch get added to the easyfundraising total which is split into quarters over the year (Jan - Mar, etc). The Trust receives a cheque for the quarterly total 60 days after the end of the quarter to give time for any amendments to be made, so the cheque for quarter 1 will be received at the end of May/start of June and so on over the course of the year. The actual amount of money that has been raised since the Trust started using these schemes (about March 2008 I believe) is £1298.76 through easyfundraising & £124.27 through easysearch giving a total of £1423.03 and, as I have often said, we really do appreciate this and thank everyone who has contributed to this total
  22. Thanks Al, it is very much appreciated The total has increased to £124.27 for searches made up to and including 15/07/10. This equates to £1.82 being raised over that week (a total of 364 searches).
  23. I will be in the kiosk in the North Concorse, between sections 6 & 7, from 2.30 (possibly earlier but certainly no later) until 2.55 on Saturday if anyone wants to come along for a chat about any and all things Trust related (dare I say even join up).
