Only a few days left of this month's competition: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/free-competition-uk/2011-08-viking/ By working together to ensure that the maximum amount of money possible is raised through easyfundraising & easysearch we can make a real difference to the club we all support. Thanks again!

If you have a sweet tooth then here is some info that you might find interesting: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/thorntons-direct/ Lets work together to generate plenty of additional funds for our club. Thanks for your support!

Here is info on the offers and donation levels available from Comet: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/comet/ You can help raise funds for the cause as well as saving yourself some money along the way - a win win situation! By working together, getting others to join up, taking advantage of free funds and using easysearch we can make a positive difference to our club. There are lots of threads in the forum that discuss many things (and that is what a forum is for) but this is the thread for doing things that will be of benefit not just talking about them! Thanks for your support!

Saturday sees the third home league game of the season and we are going for a hat-trick of first prizes over £300. The response from the supporters so far this season has been superb and if you can put 50p aside for a 50/50 ticket on Saturday it will be very much appreciated. The club are putting a lot of effort in to youth development (an extra team is running this season) and the profits from the draw go to this area of the club so your support is both appreciated and important. Thanks in advance for your support!

There is a £1.40 donation available from Fitness First if you sign up for a free one day trial pass so if you are thinking about trying out a gym then have a look: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/fitness-first/ Lets keep taking advantage of these type of free fund offers to push up the amount of money raised for the wearethistle cause as this ultimately helps the club we all support. Thanks for your backing!

A further £1.24 was raised over the course of the week upto and including 11/08/11 simply through use of easysearch, this is an improvement on recent weeks so "thanks" to the those of you who have started using it or are using it more! It really is easy money and if you are not using it I would ask that you please consider it: http://wearethistlefundraising.easysearch.org.uk/ Thanks for your support!

Info on the donations and offers available from John Lewis: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/john-lewis/ Thanks for your support and by working together we can make a difference to our club!

Was there an improvement this week after the club asking for feedback after the Dundee game?

Another firm offering money (30p) just for registering with their website is Brand Alley: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/brand-alley/ Every additional penny that can be put into the club is money that can make a difference in a division that is very tight so lets work together to make that difference! Thanks for your support!

Another indication for me that there is nothing to fear in this division, if Fox had not made that mistake (which is hopefully his clanger for the season out of the way) we would have won as Hamilton were starting to run out of ideas. Hopefully this result gives the lads a bit of confidence going into the QoS match.

Apart from the fact that it is an excellent read and one of the best in the SFL (send the cheque to the usual address Tom) I noticed that there are a couple of discounts available this season through purchasing a programme. The Brass Monkey is giving 10% off your bill on matchdays on production of the advert in the programme or by showing your season ticket. There is a 10% discount on food with the advert in the programme at Criterion, Velvet Elvis & Pintxo (Sunday - Thursday). Good to see and hopefully a few more programmes get sold as a result which helps boost the club's coffers as well.
-
Another excellent effort by you guys today - first prize of £317! We really do appreciate you buying the tickets and to get the prizes for the first two league matches of this season both over £300 when we only had one (I think that is right) last season shows that you guys really are getting behind what is going on with youth development at the club. Thanks again and see you next week. http://www.ptfc.co.uk/news/2011-2012/august_2011/50_50_half-time_draw_-_20_08_11

I can't remember what the numbers for the Dundee were but if you call the club they will have the numbers unless the prizes have already been claimed. I have spoken with Ian Maxwell about the numbers going on the official site and they will be there starting from today. I might as well take one final opportunity before I leave the house to remind people that the profits from the 50/50 draw go to youth development which is a very important area for the club so if you can spare 50p today for a ticket then it would be much appreciated!

Here is some info on something new - the easyfundraising toolbar. http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/easytoolbar/ This should make life easier for people who are looking to use easyfundraising to benefit wearethistle and ultimately Partick Thistle. Lets work together to make a difference to our club! Thanks for your support!

With the youth teams' seasons having started or about to start along with our under 19s drawing against the National Team's under 19s it seems like a good time to remind people about this ahead of our match on Saturday. There will be sellers in and around the stadium on Saturday and if you can support the efforts of the club in terms of youth development by purchasing a ticket then that will be very much appreciated. We topped £300 for the first prize against Dundee and if we could repaeat that on Saturday it would be an excellent achievement. Thanks, as always, for your continued support

Just what I was thinking!
