I think it's finally hit home to the hibs players how dire a situation they're in and it might work against us . Looking forward to it though and hopefully the sensible pricing will encourage a big noisy crowd and big thistle support especially . A proper away day .

Football has become so staid and sterile that I thought the well fans yesterday were great. Football has always had its terrace culture and the "ultra" style of supporting has become popular in recent years in this country. As for middle aged supporters calling them "wee fannies" I'm sure older fans called the mods wee fannies in the 70's or the casuals wee fannies in the 80's and how football was so much better in their day . Let the young ones have their day so they have something exciting to remember when they get older .

I think the whole "Celtic fans can't use the main stand because they let off flares "excuse is a bit if a smoke screen. What are the chances of a distress flare actually igniting wooden seats? Has there been any documented cases? Unless fires were deliberately started with paper and some sort of flammable gas whereby we're dealing with would be arsonists who could start a fire anywhere. The truth is the club want to understandably fill the ground as much as possible and the police wouldn't want the Celtic support split in two with a group of thistle fans in the middle when arriving and leaving the ground. The home support for most clubs is always down for games v the old firm. Varying reasons for this . Feel they're going to get beat ? Can't stand to be in the same ground? Increased price? Don't want to expose their kids to an Irish civil war history lesson ? I would always attend but I do have reservations about taking the kid . Unfortunately the north stand is just a bit big for the current shed support so there would be a loss of income . However this may have been boosted if we encouraged others to go into the northy for this game.

Compared to some of the manufacturers we've had in the past. Spall, TFg , SECca , arrow sports shoes, I think we were spoiled with the puma/greaves deal. Some of the biggest teams/ countries kit in the world are made by puma and people still criticise . i bought some very nice stuff red, yellow black t-shirt and track top with puma emblem on back , great quality trackie for my boy. original design strips , wide range of leisure wear, professional advertising . For a club our size it all very ambitious but at least they tried to publicise the partick thistle identity. Now this range looks a lot more scaled down but what do we expect? Joma still decent manufacturer . Bought my kid a track top at firhill cup for £2 , he loves it , very 80's retro style.

Woody is fine for kids. They can get a wee kickabout outside if they so wish as well . (with a ball , not rangersfans)

Worst one I saw was at deveronvale a few years ago .Players warming up at half time I think Caught him right on the temple and he was knocked out cold . Took ages to get Any medical attention and the guy didn't move for a long time .
