Our record against Celtic is appalling and must be the worst of any team in the top 2 divisions in Scotland over the last 20 years. I know the odds have always been farcically against us, but our inability to threaten in any meaningful way, and end up with routine defeat in my entire career as a Thistle fan (15 years) is an embarrassment.

If you think being a Thistle fan is bad imagine being a Hibs fan. They havn't won a game of any importance in decades.

We've passed up loads of opportunities already but put it this way - the team ARE capable of beating St. Johnstone next week, Motherwell could lose ar Aberdeen and St. Mirren at Kilmarnock - we would be virtually safe.

There will be no straightforward games anyway - we've lost in our latest fixtures to St. Mirren and Motherwell as well remember.

Even if we get one more win before the split, we can probably survive just avoiding defeat in a couple of the remaining games. Thistle always seem to do it the hard way.

Uncle Roy buys them a new squad every January. A team that would otherwise be in the Second Division. A lot of disappointment this season - but 7-8 points in the last 10 games and I think we will be safe. The Thistle squad is capable of that.

The team rarely, rarely plays to its capabilities. There is a culture of bottling it at PTFC. We are the cuddly toy who will never punish a team but meekly lay down arms and chuck last gasp goals in our net.

Our record against both halves of the Old Firm is appalling. Ideal team to be playing against if you are making your debut.

St. Mirren are clearly rotten this year, we should really be nowhere near them... 10 points with 17 games left for them to play...

In last season, and this season to date, I've just counted: 9 games with loss of an injury time equaliser or winner and 2 games with an injury time equaliser for Thistle. No one can deny the pattern. This has to change. We cannot continue to avoid relegation playing like that.

Hibs 1-1 injury time equaliser - twice Ross County 3-3 injury time equaliser Kilmarnock injury time equaliser Hamilton injury time winner AND equaliser St Mirren injury time winner How many more examples do we need?

why does nothing ever change? why can this group of players never see out a one goal advantage in injury time? it simply is not good enough
