More a half full than half empty statement from cowan, a wee bit of positivity does no harm moving into the new season

Ok were skint, were losing fans left right and centre, where is the strategy?? If we were any other customer based business we would be hastling punters with info deals newsletters, offering easier investment (shares, CF on-line etc), running the things we do offer properly (CF, season ticket renewals etc), we'd make our current customer base feel wanted, needed eveen whilst trying to grow from it. We'd be doing this whilst also looking to the propco with things being that bad financially, spread your bets get money from every avenue thats available and don#t burn your bridges. So why are we not? Whats the plan BOD?? is it 1) Hope the property price spikes very soon and we make a fortune from that end of the ground and all our debts are cleared. 2) Wait on the knight in shining armour to pick up his racing post and give us a wee call 3) Don't worry the fans will put up with all the misinformation, the badly running of day to day events, the general contempt they are treated with and keep coming and hey they may all start bringing 3 or 4 mates to experience the same level of enjoyment 4) wait for the club to go tits up let the bank take it back for property and see your land value quadruple when its not attached on to the sidess of a noisy (sometimes) football ground. Ther seems no plan to me apart from number 4, so come on lads you love tellin bert how things are all under control, so let us all know how are you's controlling this

Total clearout at board level, re-engagement (did we they ever engage) with the fans, run the club proffessionally instead of a 2 bit lower junior league outfit and steal GOOD ideas from other clubs regards engaging with fan groups encouraging families and kids, had a good conversation with a certain director in oslo over the way the scandinavian teams set there stall out regarding marketing themselves, utilising there facilities and encourage kids families and more females to the games, even offered to introduce said director to 2 clubs fan groups and 1 clubs directors was responded with aye but it'll never work for us, if you don't try you will never know. Get them all out barr JA who seems to knock his pan in for no gain only pride and love of the club

This sums up everything that is wrong with our club, it is a customer based business which doesnt know how to deal with customers and its losing customers hand over fist season after season and will continue till these guys leave, fresh blood is needed from where god knows but anyone would be better than the non inclusive gentlemans club that we have running the place. They are bleeding this club dry whilst now lining there own pockets with propco, now ask yourselfs how much easier would it to develop the land if there was no football club there and how much more profit would be made for the independent "thistle minded" development company. As for the 25k the trust would have done it for free so being thistle minded he should have done the same or put the wage back in to the youth policy etc

Not as many bars sell it these days, it is the lesser of 2 evils to be honest and still stinks

option 4 .... get one of those portable BBQ's and cook your food on the train an your way to the pub before the game.

Tau, local norwegian beer you get a hangover as you drink it and at £5 a pint doesnt add to the memorable experience, and its almost all you can get on draft here unless you want to pay well over the odds
