    It might be a golden period in terms of league position but that's all - being honest the overall standard of the league is abysmal. The most recent example being the Kilmarnock game. When was the last home match that could be described as exciting? The attendance figures don't lie.

    That win on Tuesday looks massive in retrospect now. Without those 3 points the position would be significantly less commanding. Hopefully Cerny is back quickly - I'm afraid Scully is the new Piccolo where appearance on a team sheet leads to an immediate drop in confidence.

    16 home v. 17 away means 3 home games. Dundee also have 3 at home, so probably Kilmarnock or DU at home again.

    Why not? An established top flight club and Scottish Cup winners. Miles ahead of what PTFC have achieved recently.

    The two home matches could be St.Johnstone / Motherwell. Meaningless matches and hardly massive money spinners. Even Hearts I doubt would bring that many.

    Superior Goal Difference is worth another point so no harm done. The real season starts again now. An offer of 3 points from the last four games and GD of -2 would have been snapped up immediately.

    Good for them. Personally not remotely interested - only really care about my own team these days.
