I was at the Barca v Chelsea game and was speaking to a few folk - the red & yellow one was available as a 'fake' (good quality) to support Catalonia's drive towards independence. My pal had one, but couldn't see any for sale that day. This new one is a CRACKER!! I go to a few Barca games each year and to have both 'my teams' in red n yella AND playing great football is just amazing!

We're in a final!!! Hahaha - brilliant! Enjoy & if we sell it out, fine. It's on tv & I'm sure folk can have a great time in the pub / at home if they miss out. There's no totally fair way to do it, but ST holders should get 1st dibs (max 2) then a public sale with a 2 per person limit. Anyway, lets just enjoy it!

I know we all like a pint, but a bar that is only used once a fortnight max is unlikely to yield good draught beer. Get rid of the draught, get a good selection of bottles (properly chilled) in - lagers, beers, stout - and watch the queues disappear. Draught is a hassle, wastage is high and for speed is awful.

Turn the club phone off in January. Simple.

Imagine if we had the title stitched up by the time the Ramsden's Cup Final comes along? What a day that'd be!!!

The Brass Monkey is 3 years old on Sat 17th November and we're having a party! It's been well frequented by Jags fans over the years so it'd be great to see any of you along. We've got a BBQ from Edenmill Farm (amazing burgers!), live music, DJ later on & some rather good drinks promos. All draught £3.00 (get it?) plus lots of premium spirits, wine etc all at £3.00 too! 3 is the magic number! All starts about 6.30pm. Red n Yella always welcome!

I think it's going to be a busy one! Lots of folk I know going who don't usually go. Quite a few fans from other Glasgow clubs have told me they're going too. Fingers crossed it's a cracker & they come back!

I'm hoping to get a wee Brass Monkey fun bus organised for a day oot to the final. A few of our regulars suggested it & I like the idea. A wee lunchtime BBQ, some beers then hop on bus, win cup, back on bus to BM! Easy!

Haha! As if I would do that?!? Hmm... Yep, our place and in my opinion, which is very important, the food is rather tasty! It's like The Brass Monkey but with food and in Bearsden. It does have a 'no Scottish football policy' as there seems to be a fair few 90 minute bigots up there, so just decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Obviously by 'Scottish' I mean OF... And no, 5 tickets does not mean 100% off!
