No idea where you are getting this fro - we struggled against Raith in a number of games last season. They have signed some players that i would have been delighted to have in our squad- Jack Hamilton, Smith, Mullin, Borowski etc etc Think they will be well challenging for top 4 this coming season

He was still contributing more than some, and had become an easy scapegoat he was injured at the end of the previous season with QOS and didn’t have a full pre season with us either. howeever I do agree that Doolan has been far far better at getting Firzys confidence up and the best out of him than McCall was. Nonsense Fitzpatrick was heading out the door. He had scored vital goals already including ones against Arbroath that got us a lucrative cup tie against Aberdeen and then against Dunfermline in the cup which helped us get an even more lucrative game against Rangers. We would have struggled financially otherwise. You were probably calling for Elliot to be resigned last summer when he was released for Dundee which would have seen us miss out on JCk McMillan

Any other season his goal scoring was horrendous- he was missing sitters from 3 yards out. saying better than Dowds is not entirely prolific. Fact is Jackubiak was pretty much next to useless when he was at Firhill

Surely we need at least 3 if not 4 strikers anyway. If Dowds is away that would leave only Graham and Robinson though. Graham is 35 and Robinson has had some injuries. I think even if Dowds were to leave we would be looking to sign at a couple of other strikers.

Robinson will have good experience of the championship as well, not least as part of that Livingston team that completely outclassed us in the playoffs a few years ago
