Why won't Archie play 2 up front and Erskine? Doolan and Erskine need to be playing together. Both players are far more dangerous when they are both on the pitch.

We need s centre half. And we need a defensive midfielder that can go box to box, commit players, and chip in with the odd goal. Welsh is NOT the answer. Bannigan was the answer. Fraser could have been the answer. And sometimes we need to play Doolan alongside someone else that can score goals... maybe that's the striker you're talking about.

Rangers were crap today and there for the taking. I genuinely think our tempo is too low, we're giving teams too much space and respect, and not doing the dirty bits of the game well enough. I'm bored of hearing about "positives to take from the game". These teams are very beatable with the squad we've got. We should have taken something today. We blew it.

Utterly pedestrian. The very least a team needs to do to win a game is play with energy. That first half was torture. Total walking pace. Once again we think we're some great football team that doesn't need to work hard to win a game. Wrong. Again. And a special mention for Welsh. Once again pedestrian in chief. Too many touches. No forward drive. Pathetic delivery.

Welsh's delivery at corners is rotten. Erskine too over responsibility for corners earlier in the season and the delivery was much improved. And I can't remember him scoring a free kick since we've been in the Premiership and he must be approach his 100th attempt. Seriously, is there no one who can hit a better ball? I bet Barton can strike the ball better...

Agree with everything said apart from one thing. That the ball doesn't usually arrive at Doolan's feet against the better teams. Maybe having Erskine back will provide better service to Doolan to get us up the pitch but in absence of that id rather have someone who can run in behind.

I agree Doolan's the only proven goalscorer, but the ball doesn't stick up there with Doolan lone striker against the better teams. I'd rather play someone that can hold the ball and bring people in (Pogga) or get behind (Azeez). Dools is a fabulous player when we're playing teams that we're able to dominate the ball and play in the opposition half. But I don't think Hearts will be that sort of game.

Excellent. I've signed up for Jagzone as well. Very few bugs and crisply laid out. Well done. Must have cost a few bob... But I think Jagzone is the best commercial offering we've had as long as I can remember. This is a completely new revenue stream, which I reckon a lot of fans will support.

I assume it'll be based on IP address, that's usually how these things tell your country. In which case you'll be able to join but won't be able to view the games. That's how the Aberdeen site works.... Don't know if Jagzone will be different. If that's the case then a cloaked IP would still allow access.

Does anyone know if season tickets holders get access to Jagzone? I've tried my Tag details without success.

We have made a change to it only yesterday in which simplifies the process if you are season ticket holder. Now when you go to purchase the game, it goes through to a screen which asks whether or not you wish to purchase the ticket on your season ticket seat, click yes, and it will go through to payment and give you a message saying it has been added. There's a mention on another thread that we've signed Antonio German. Hasn't achieved much in his career so hopefully he's better than what his stats suggest. Striker/winger.

This sounds interesting, but I worry when our esteemed leaders say stupid things like: "...the ground-breaking bonus point system should add incentive to teams...." said Doncaster. The bonus point system offers no incentive. You either win or lose a penalty shoot out, there is no added incentive in a bonus point. It's not like teams can hold on for the draw. This statement is incredibly stupid.

We need to have midfielders that can either get beyond the striker or beat a player. Bannigan, Welsh, and Osman, can do neither of those things. The easiest thing for a defence is when the play is all in front of them. We need to stop playing the three of these guys if we want to score some goals.

Archie is an excellent manager and will find a way. Part of the problem is surely that his attacking midfield players are off form or not available. I still think a fit Gary Fraser is vital to give us the drive and energy we're crying out for.
