The team Archie has kept/formed is a complete shambles.. That falls completely at the feet of the board for keeping him way past his time and allowing him to do the rebuild for this season. is Caldwell the right man? the Jury is still out but you cannot judge him on somebody else’s team and I genuinely don’t think any manager could do better with this crop of crap..they couldn’t finish their dinner elliot, spitball, erskine, Doolan and Storey need to go as their time is up...They have went stale just like Archie Mutumbo and Quitongo haven’t really been given enough chances in my opinion but certainly haven’t showed enough from what we have seen Craig Slater is the only plus point this season i feel the defence is slowly getting better but middle to front is chronic and if you don’t score goals you don’t win games it’s as simple as that

The Final insult was missing the penalty we have a 100+ goal striker on the Park and we let Spittal take it who the majority of fans want to see the back of. I noticed Bannigan spoke to him just as he was due to take it ( maybe he wasn’t confident in him either) caldwell got the job on the understanding he was going to improve the current team. There’s no way he got it by saying they’re all crap and I will Make whole sale changes in January. I don’t see ANY improvement and anyone who does doesn’t follow football. if it wasn’t for Craig Slater bailing the defence out twice after shambolic defending we would of been beaten more convincingly.. FACT! Yes we played well first half but again and again when the final ball came or when we found ourselves through we absolutely fluffed it. I don’t know if anyone in the club realises that you need to score to win football matches. Caldwell has came out and said how great it was because the desire and hard work was present. Am I the only one who thinks that should be a given every time a player enters the field and if it’s not get them to #### last season we all thought we would be fine when the injuries had cleared up..Didn’t happen and damage was done. This season we are waiting for new recruits in January. Maybe just maybe it won’t work and the damage will have already been done. Time for the Board to wake up ARCHIE played 7 won 3 Caldwell played 4 lost 4 JUST SAYING!!!

The manager is the problem and always has been. with the right man in charge this team could do things this season especially as Bannigan now seems to be back. i am fed up of hearing “who would we get though” killie would never have thought they would get Clarke and same with Livi so let’s give it a go and see..Anything would be better than the current dross. Giving Archie more time didn’t work last season and it won’t work this season. Let’s learn from our mistakes. Utd’s decision to bin shabba will change there season. its time to act now

I don’t think it’s time to completely loose our heads, we lost to a school boy level error and an absolute worldy but some things cannot be ignored. Also how long do we leave it? Today shows what happens when you have a good manager...they were streets ahead of us and Mark Kerr is even in the team. Their number 7 completely ran the game and we are screaming out for a real defensive midfielder. Let’s face it McCall schooled Archie today. it scares me that once again this season we are starting off with the same mistakes as last.Behind with signing players, persisting with injured players,signing injury prone players. Playing players that need some bench time.Sticking to formations and passages of play that have zero final product.Ridiculous substitutions.No plan B. A team that chuck it when they go behind.A team who look really unfit. Doolan and Spittal for me where really disappointing and that does not bode well for the season..Erskine tried hard but it just wasn’t happening..Shea Gordon did nothing the whole game apart from one decent tackle. We could sign the world but if the same mistakes keep being made nothing will change. The big question is was it the players last year or was it really the whole set up. We will find out really soon. VERY VERY CONCERNED!!!!!

There was but he’s signed a one year extension with Ayr. 22 goals in league 1 last year and was the POTY for that division also would have been a decent signing I think

Jags 1-2 Raith very youthful team so hard to judge with loads of changes the only stand out was Miles Storey who terrorised their defence and scored a great solo goal. there was a centre half trialist and a midfield trialist and neither really stood out although we lost both goals when we took him off. no Cammy Bell, Elliott, Oware or McCarthy Bannigan had a good run out and played well enough erskine and Dools average

Might be a bit premature but looks like he’s signed. Again another decent signing and at 31 has a few more seasons in him.

I do actually agree with you but both of them when they are fit and playing well are very good players..Don’t think many teams will take a punt on them due to their injury problems but if we could get them fit they could be the difference in that league..All big Iffs though...I personally don’t like Spittal I think at times he’s looked decent in a very very poor team...Wasn’t aware of Dumbuya walking out but I think it’s obvious that Archie lost the dressing room some time ago
