One of the reasons our defence is honking is Devine...I don't think he communicates well and at times he's a bomb scare...get him out and get Barton who is woeful in midfield back into the position he was good at last year..in my opinion that is basics and Archie surely must see this..Barton brings a calmness and is good at building the play..

We can play some neat football at times which is pleasing on the eye but that is not what's going to get us out this mess. We are so lightweight and flimsy..We llack bite,dig and passion which is what's required to get us out this mess. Hamilton and Kilmarnock today both have these qualities and they are the teams moving up this league. I think we call it winning UGLY. Forget what we achieved last year..there were 5 teams below us who were dreadful for the full season but have drastically improved this season and with the addiction of Hibs it was always going to be more difficult. lawless, Barton and Edwards are a complete waste of a Jersey. Spittal has vanished in recent weeks and Keown is a shadow of the player he was last year. We constantly flit between Dolan and Storey and today showed what can happen when you play Two strikers (Boyd & Brophy) both got two goals. I don't think Archie has the players available to successfully play his way and I doubt even more he knows how to change it up to start getting victorys. What MUST happen on Wednesday is a complete shake up with some bite and passion as Motherwell will run over the top of us as they did at Firpark

I totally agree that we must give Archie the next two games as then he has played everyone once and we can put to bed the rediculous statement of our run of opening fixtures. Do people forget that we're with the big boys now and everyone needs to face the big boys at some stage. I am perplexed at Archie saying that we play this system regularly and the players should no it..What players because the players who are suited to that system are injured or sick note so does this mean he doesn't know what formation suits his current available players. 4-2-3-1 never worked yesterday 3-5-2 never worked against Motherwell What is alarming was some of the players attitudes yesterday They just chucked it and that's relegation attitude. What's our thoughts on team selection for Saturday. With Keown Suspended does Devine Slip in or do we move Barton Back or play both in defence. Does Mcginn get a start or has Nitriansky done enough to stay in the team. Who takes the attacking slots Erskine,lawless,Spittal,Sammon,Storey or Dools Can we tag our 5th league game as a must win?

Storey and Osman is a strange one

Even though he's in the middle of the three I see him dropping deep to pick up the ball to make things happen as Bannigan does best..The post before you also mentioned Nitrianski instead of booth I would go with that as well to be fair as he looked decent yesterday and his distribution was excellent..Just a though to be fair but I don't think we are getting enough from Lawless and Erskine but it is very early I suppose

I am going to suggest something which I will probably get lambasted for but a forum is all about opinions I suppose..Drop Lawless and Erskine and play Storey and Spittal and also bin day dreamer Barton for Bannigan..I think Lawless and Erskine need to know they are not first names on team sheet anymore and I bet it will improve them both...Lawless gave away the ball everytime he got it yesterday and I honestly think he's a weak link..he has moments of sheer brilliance but totally inconsistent and gets bullied in my opinion..change system to 4-1-3-2 and play Sammom and Doolan up front
