I'm hoping for a 3-4-3 with Cerny in goal(obviously), a back three of Devine, Barton and Turnbull, Nitriansky and Elliott at wing back as I don't think McGinn will be match fit yet, Banzo and Abdul as the two centre mids and a front three of Erskine, Doolan and Spittal.

Think we need to win this to try and get our season up and running as the longer we go without winning the more it'll affect the team's confidence. Which shows the sad state of our national game that these are some of our best options, personally I'd rather have Matt Phillips or Olly Burke playing ahead of Snodgrass (that lineup wasn't my preferred team it's what I think Strachan will pick), I like Ritchie though gets a few goals for Scotland and he's playing in the Premier League.

We should just give up now

So was Aberdeen's, it was an end to end game that we were unlucky to lose and I for one am very proud of our performance yesterday. If you put it into perspective Aberdeen are unbeaten so far this season apart from the Apollon game, top of the league and an improved team from last year and we went head to head with them. This is the usual annual panic season for Thistle but if we can play like that every week and stiffen up the defence a bit a win is forthcoming!
