It's the lot for me!

Think for the vast majority it has nothing to do with a hatred of Rangers and those who are suggesting that it is, need to read the comments of people on here and try and understand where we are coming from. It is about the game being played on a level playing field. We are not stupid wee boys. We know the Old Firm carry much weight and force in the game. If Partick Thistle or any other club other than the Old Firm had done what Gers have done, they would be in div 3 at best already. If Gers are going to get preferential treatment, why are we bothering with football in this country? I would imagine every single person who has said they would boycott is hurting like hell today. Oh I don't claim to be a Partick Thistle supporter....I AM A PARTICK THISTLE SUPPORTER.

I wanted to see the support "united" this season and pulling together to achieve success on and off the park. Would appear, a good few of us are "united" and have put past differences between us, to the side and are fighting as one. It's heart breaking as to the subject matter and our possible actions that has brought this about!

No idea how we go about organizing it but I'd do everything i can to attend.

Yes I tackled that very issue this morning.

I've already renewed my season ticket and that of my wife. Did so about a month ago. I'm totally against what is being suggested in press.

You get a grip. This is not about hatred of Rangers. It's about Integrity , fairness and the game being played on a fair and level playing field. Was any of this suggested when Gretna had all their problems? no, get them in the 3rd and be done with them, no arguments, no debates, no problems. Gers do what they have done and its months of panic, debate, arguing. Now, it seems it's rule change to get them back in SPL as quick as possible and for us and the rest to make a quick buck in the process. I long for change in Scottish football but only for the right reasons. This is being done not for the good of the scottish game but to help a cheating club. It's completely wrong. Make no mistake about it, plenty of long serving jags fans will be lost if this goes ahead. As will long standing fans of other clubs. As opposed to helping scottish football, this could be the death of it!

I don't think i could add anything other than my total agreement to what MM said. Many a time on here I've given my support to David Beattie and the board. I feel David's recent comments have been ill advised and risk alienating the Board from the fans, at a time when a lot of good work was being done to bring us all closer together. Scottish football needs change, we all know that, we all want that. Changing to help out Rangers is just wrong..UNFORGIVABLE in fact. I'm fearful for our club this morning.

Not if our fans decide not to renew season tickets or go back to Firhill, it won't. Also, what if there was no opportunity to gain extra place to SPL. It is not as cut and dried as you appear to make it !

In the event Rangers "get away with it " the solution is simple. Shut down Scottish football completely. Every May hold a lottery. Two names in. Rangers and Celtic. Which ever one gets drawn then they get to keep the League, Scottish cup and League cup for the year. We may as well as there will be bugger all point in any of the rest of us being involved!

I expect he and others at the club do....ask wee scamps as Paton give him stick at the player of the year for comments he'd posted about him !! Just think sometimes things on here are not always as constructive as they could be and by emailing him and making feelings known, perhaps we'll get more clarity on the issue. I've done so today. For me I feel there are some exciting and challenging times ahead for us. We are driving forward with the "One Thistle" scheme and I'm sure more will come from that. I've been happy with new signings and with who we have kept. Not saying we'll win the league but I do feel we can challenge this coming season. i renewed the season tickets despite it placing a big strain on my finances in support of what is going on at the club. Forgetting whether we hate the Old Firm or not, what has been going on down in Govan has been a disgrace. For me , only the Old Firm would have everyone debating, arguing over what to do. The rest of us would already, at best, be in div 3. If we as a club are involved in a situation that finds them in our league next season, I fear we will lose the hard core support we have and it will be our own very existance that will be in doubt. I've always believed David Beattie has always had the best interest of Partick Thistle at heart. He needs to be very very careful what he says and what actions he takes on this issue. We dare not lose the core support we have. We do and it could well be game over for us !

Davie, if you ordered on the day of the Firhill cup, when can you expect to receive the DVD?

Think it would be worth emails to David Beattie asking him to fully clarify his belief/stance? He made reference to fans not being happy, so to avoid causing unrest with our own support, perhaps him giving us a full explanation would help. Last thing we need is fans not turning up as they don't agree with stance we took on this issue.
