  3. Thank you for the responses thus far! Keep them coming in. Meant to add to that earlier post that you can get in touch via our Facebook page too. Just search for Jagscast. Over 100 friends on there, so thank you everyone!
  4. After the shenanigans at Parkhead - what makes you proud to be a Jags fan? Why us, and not them? What does it for you? Message us, or email [email protected]
  5. I'd like to echo what Graeme has said, the disc was handed to Goblin who was hosting the pod on THW at the time. He had put it on hold due to a potential link up with the club. We got fed up waiting, so decided to bash out a new "unofficial" pod. We have now made arrangements to air the interiew ourselves.
  6. I would just like to say that I thought Rushden did an excellent job. Not AC Jimbo by any stretch of the imagination, but the boy did well.
  7. The Shamrock Rovers teamsheet at the bottom makes for some interesting reading!

    Limmy's Show

You need to see if you can still download the podcasts on itunes. Genius. Better than the series in my opinion.
  9. We were desperate to broadcast it NS, but it was handed over to THW and no idea what Craig's done with it. Just as eager to hear it as you are! P.S. Pie of the Month - Rushden is going to be a disaster on FW I fear!
  10. You can download the latest Jagscast here: Jagscast "O Fenomeno!" In this episode: VBL, Manly J Panda, David "Vanilla Sky" Ferguson, Cowie and Donald "Marc Corcoran" Balatoni discuss their favourite strikers to don the rella, new nicknames for the players, and big bust ups that they'd like to see.
  11. Already had a number of emails in, keep them coming folks. x
  12. If you search for jagscast on here, a few threads will pop up. Here is a link to a mini one we did: http://www.wearethistle.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/990-new-jagscast-available/page__p__14842__hl__jagscast__fromsearch__1entry14842 You can find us on Facebook too, just search for jagscast. Cheers, VBL
  13. Right listeners. Bit of audience participation please. This week, we celebrated Valentine's Day. But who or what would you pair Thistle legends up with? For example, surely Derek Whyte and a mirror would be a match made in heaven? Or perhaps Jim Slavin and a roll and sausage from Jaconellis? Please message us with your thoughts, or Thistle related Valentine poems. Don't post them on here, let's keep an air of mystery surrounding it all, eh? Either send us a PM on here, or email us at [email protected] Thank you one and all. P.S. I'm sure your suggestions will be better than mine...
  14. Bird flu, Swine flu, Fox flu?
  15. Roses are red, Violets are blue, Thistle are brilliant When they've not got the flu. Add us on Facebook Hoping to do more podcasts from now on. There was a bit of a break due to the club wanting to do something more official, but we can't be bothered waiting. We may become the Official Unofficial Podcast. If you have any ideas for the Jagscast, then get in touch: [email protected]
  16. I'll get Richard to have a word. Needing a good turn out on Friday, so please do come along!
  17. Hello everyone. As you may or may not know, BBC Radio Scotland's Richard Cadey (http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/radioscotland/2010/06/cadeys-community-challenge.shtml) was challenged to create a cricket team in his town of Torrance this year. He succeeded in recruiting a pool of 30 players. 11 of these 30 took part in the TCCC's inaugural match against Gargunnock CC on August 29th and were defeated by only 30 odd runs, a real achievement for a team of almost complete beginners (including me!). Anyway, we hope to build on our excellent start as a team and play more matches in 2011, but we do need some funding. At a recent team meeting, I volunteered (after 3 pints of cider) to take control of fundraising for the team...oh dear. I have, therefore, organised a Christmas Quiz Night on Friday 10th December at the Victoria Bowling Club, Torrance. I'm appealing to you all to come along and support the team, and also to boost attendance Doors are at 7pm on Friday, the quiz will start at 8pm. £10 per team. Cheap bar, some music and even a raffle! Please let me know if you can make it. Cheers, Vinny
  18. Mini JagsCast available here: JagsCast As always, happy to accept people's views and input.
  19. Our feelings were that there was no point signing him up a week earlier to sit out the Clyde game due to injury.
  20. A wee thank you from all at the JagsCast. Listening figures are increasing and people seem to be enjoying our efforts. I hope you all keep tuning in, we've got some great plans for the podcast this year. We're really excited about all the developments. Remember, you can get in touch with us at [email protected] We're always looking for new ideas and contributors - the more the merrier!
