  1. Would be up to fans to organise probably. Good idea though. So basically we have the away stand and behind the goals to the right?
  2. Not caught up on paper, Scotsman, but it seems the Jambos now need two million to survive the season. I assume this would include the £450,000 PAYE bill but not the £1.75 million potential bill for the loan players? At least the Jambos have a target to meet. Will this liability sink the Vlad-bonds share-issue? Don't think the game could afford to lose the Hearts ala Sevco, so I hope their fans rally round and raise the cash and get an exit strategy in place for Mr Romanov.
  3. Grant and George cut the crap OF chat. It's beneath you both as good Thistle men
  4. Kenny Miller's MLS season finished over a week ago. Just saying like
  5. My mate phoned up the club about tickets for Saturday and was told it was ticket entry for Thistle fans. Even the Northy. Is this correct?
  6. Greaves run the club shop as well, so it doesn't matter to the club where you get your top Banjo.
  7. At least Rhodes might get a start. To be fair to Stark he is new to the senior role and probably feels more comfortable with players who have experience of the first team squad. The standard of player isn't far of our strongest squad. Stark may be showing loyalty to the players as they will be low and will use this as a chance to score a few goals and restore some confidence before the next qualifier and a new manager.
  8. I was ten out and got there at twenty to, because Munns was shut
  9. Welcome home Munns was shut on Saturday. Coopers at kelvinbridge is a good pub with a good range of beers at decent prices. Quite a few Jags meet there then head up. Sometimes for a swifty at Munns, when open. Does food as well. Star and Garter on Garscube Road is a hotbed of Thistle fans pre post match. Cheap and cheerful. Not been to Woodside Inn at Queens X on Maryhill Road for a while but will be full of Jaggoes as well. Enjoy your trip and the victory(fingers crossed).
  10. He's not been back in ages. Said at Cowden he wouldn't return under the current board
  11. Must have been game plan. I noticed O'Donnell was told to bolt when requesting the ball by Fox. Result Linford traps the ball to Cove player
  12. Was talking about that after the game. Personally I'm not too bothered as the home top is more Albion Rovers than Partick Thistle, imo.
  13. On a similar point I hope parents aren't priced out of talking their kids along to such a big game. A cup final coupled with the u16 initiative could cement a lot these children as Thistle fans for life. If we win they'll at least have bragging rights over their sevconian class mates
  14. I was casting my own line into the debate LJ
  15. I know about ten folk wanting to go to this, none of whom are season ticket holders. I am a regular and paid in to all home games bar one last season. This season I've missed three cup games and Hamilton in the league cup, otherwise I've been to all games home and away. Just because due to personal circumstances and choice I don't have a season book, should I not be able to get a ticket? The club is happy to take my money on a Saturday.
  16. Lady Izzy is right. The under lying problem is with the beaks at the SFA. It does not help that there is three organisations running our game. One association with qualified people running the relevant departments. Let's see an end to this cronyism and jobs for the boys mentality. In all honesty i didn't see us finishing in the top two without a big bit of luck. Third spot was a realistic target and would have shown progression. Now with a bit of bad luck we are looking to avoid bottom spot. If Levein was a club manager and you could correlate his results to those of a league manager he should be given his jotters. Of course he probably will be in charge for Luxemburg due to the afore mentioned cronyism
  17. Seriously, I don't know, I've only had a pint at the ground. Grant's yer man on the inside.
  18. QoS fans on P&B seem happy enough. Jags fans not too happy. No idea how it work or who would organise it but would it be worth setting up some kind of fanzone near the ground. Maybe in the nearby college grounds? Maybe Ramsdens will do something?
  19. You would be as well knocking together a fans guide to Livingston, Grant
  20. Stadium is pretty decent. Its just the lack of pubs nearby that could be an issue. I enjoyed the recent league game. Got parked at Tony Macaronis then a 5 minute walk to the ground in time for a pint in the social club, pie and a programme and sat down facing the half way line in time for kick off. I fear the only repeat will be the stadium this time around I wasn't driving by the way.
  21. Levein must stay for this game. He has 3 competitive victories against teams that begin with L I get the feeling he'll get kept on
  22. I guess the lower crowd will hit the amount taken. When available maybe the club could give up two tickets for the Ramsden final as prizes? Just a thought. I'll get a few tomorrow, if I win I'll buy a season ticket. A win win scenario for the club
  23. Season tickets aren't valid for this cup so open sale I reckon
  24. I see the actual cup is coming to Firhill tomorrow. 1·30-2pm in the Aitken Suite then over to the JH concourse for photo opportunities. Just don't touch it
